Moving to Twitter...

So the day’s come where NSFW is now banned on Tumblr. T__T

I’m really saddened by all of this because Tumblr’s always been like a second home, a place where I could have fun and share my terrible art with other people who shared the same interests. But with all the changes it looks like that won’t be the case anymore.

I still plan to leave my blog here (minus the NSFW) and still upload SFW comics and art if Tumblr doesn’t deactivate me, but from now on Twitter will be where I primarily post. So please go follow me there if you haven’t already. Thank you everyone.

From censoring porn to censoring opinions, tumblr has always been a piece of shit for creators and people in general. I haven’t been active on here because of the whole purge thing. ;PP So fuck tumblr. I’m going to pixiv and posting old art there (From wildwawas to this account). And all new art from now on. I’ll be on Twitter too where new art will be posted as well. If you want you can add me on discord ;P (Message me for it if you want)

It’s sad to see many communities affected by tumblr’s decision. I’ve met many cool people on here and it’s been a good ride.

You know, I firmly believe in a website’s right to ban adult content, and even to change their policies on adult content, but to ban adult content in the name of making your site “more safe/inclusive/more positive” only implies that we’re the ones who made this website unsafe to begin with. As if we’re the ones who came up with a shitty algorithm to find harmful content and invited porn bots to oversaturate the userbase. Allowing individual users to post adult content on adult-flagged blogs does not limit some other user’s ability to ‘express themselves’ on their own blog. If adult content is no longer permitted, simply fucking ban it. Don’t patronize us into thinking that this is for our own good.

To anyone worried about Fandom and how we’re going to ‘cope with this’: we’ve been drawing and writing porn since the 60′s. My own mother was a Kirk/Spock fanfic writer who would group up with her girl friends to share their fanfic. If fandom can survive pre-internet, we can survive without Tumblr. No need to go crying and begging for this platform to take us back, guys. They’ve made it pretty clear that they don’t want us around anymore - and on International Day To End Violence Against Sex Workers, no less - so it’s time to just move on. It sucks, but we’ve been through worse, and we’ll find our platform again eventually. And when that one dies out, we’ll find another one.
