Lackspiration...

I’m sitting on the train thinking about how it’s been awhile since I posted and how I always intend to be regular with habits, food, diary entries, exercise, learning a language.. etc

I honestly have no idea why I find it so hard to start and keep a good habit. I’m wanting some inspiration because currently I’m lacking it.

What keeps you motivated?

How do you force yourself to do something you’re otherwise dreading?

Arrrgh, the pork poised me!

Morning! So I made meals last week and obviously didn’t follow food safety rules. My lovely dish is the photo below made me sick. I was headed off to a friends for the weekend, they made dinner for us and I had to excuse myself from the table to go lay down. I was then basically out of action until Saturday night. They nursed me back to health!

Now, because of all this my weigh in is a little skewed today. Here’s my decidedly weekly selfie as I’m headed out the door to work.

14.3kg loss between April 2017 to now

Losing weight and learning to be healthy has been one of my greatest challenges, but slow progress has made all the difference. 28kg left to loose and it might take me another 4years but the learnings I have gained along the way have been so much more valuable than a quick fix diet. Gradually finding food I enjoy has been great. Slowly adding new habits and removing old ones and taking the time to train myself has been worth it. If you’re struggling, please just make small changes, don’t be dramatic or do something that you won’t be able to implement for life. It’s all about training yourself to think different and that doesn’t happen overnight....but it will happen ☺️

Hello morning! This breakfast was one for the road. Last night I made an overnight breakfast cup. I really wanted to do glass so I could see how cool it looks. This was by far the best breakfast I’ve made yet :-) So yummy and the yoghurt went a little firm. I’m loving how versatile they are, no limit on what you can do. It’s the breakfast of creative champions!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Shredded Coconut
  • Milk
  • Honey

What happened? I had a very social weekend and tried to keep options open for healthy choices. Also making sure I’m having regular meals to keep my metabolism going. Last night I had @lizzie-loses & her fiancé Chris over for dinner and we made Vietnamese rice paper rolls. Post to follow.

What happened? Honestly I binged on bread excessively this week and didn’t prepare meals. I’m going to make some changes the next two days and weigh in on Monday morning.

Good morning followers,

Today I share my office outfit, my body, makeup-less face and we’re off to work!

Today I weighed in at 115.2kg. My next goal is to get under 110kg. I’ve been floating between those two numbers for about twelve months. I’m trying to find some motivation to make some changes. I’m hoping this blog is it.
