phew that took some time!
remember that i mentioned a HTTYD AU? yeah! i ordered the art book :D
first one: some time after Hanzo joined the sanctuary for dragons created by overwatch. Hes slowly getting comfortable around his brother again but not really with people in general. Most of the time hes wandering through the forests with his dragon(s) until at some point, Jesse joins him and some time later also Genji.
second: Character sketches! Even if i don’t actively ship Jack and Gabe i love their dynamics with each other and the whole lore is giving me feels so them being an item just seemed kind of natural?
Jack and Gabe are the head of their family with Gabe being the one leading on scouting missions and such and Jack more of a supporting character. The sanctuary was created by them after Jack almost drowned at sea, while they were out hunting. A dragon found Jack halfdead barely hanging on on one of the cliffs and brought him home to a dragons den.
When Gabe found him he fought the dragons thinking that they had killed Jack but then Jack jumped in front of him and explained what had happened.
Overwatch then settled down close to the den, setting up their base on the dangerous cliffs trying to find more dragons they could rescue from hunters.
Finding shipwrecks and/or survivors is literally a usual Monday morning and that was how Gabe found a teenage Jesse drifting on a piece of wood.
A few years later they found Genji, Jesse followed one of their rescued dragons who had found Genji heavily wounded on a small rescue boat and brought him back to the base. After he had recovered and told them about the hunter clan Shimada they kept their eyes open for any sign of that giant fleet whenever they went out to search for shipwrecks.
third: Hanzo when he was with the family still and before the incident with Genji had happened. He left the clan after him and one of captured young dragon bonded. When he had seen the eyes of the dragon he was reminded of the night he had abandoned Genji and couldn’t watch much longer and left with the dragon.
A few years later, Hanzo’s only goal is to destroy the fleet and on one of those attacks he meets Jesse and Genji on their dragons.
I still don’t know how i can/will tell this story. Maybe ill try to learn how to write? because doing comics ... is also kinda interesting.......hmmm
