okay so i don’t know if u know anything abt this or not but im desperate. basically a couple of months ago i read this markwardo pride & prejudice/historical au on ao3 and i can’t find it anywhere :( it had mark as darcy and wardo as elizabethand dustin and chris were jane and bingley im pretty sure. it was definitely on ao3 tho

it’s just about how erica’s line perfectly captures the culmination of mark and eduardo’s relationship, and the ending of it.
it’s like mark did what he did to eduardo, and he did it because it’s business, because in mark’s eyes, eduardo was a bad business partner, not a bad friend, but maybe sean was right in thinking that eduardo needed to step away from the company. mark could separate the business and friendship aspects of their relationship easily, and eduardo just couldn’t even fathom there being a separation to begin with because he only helped BECAUSE he loved mark and because they were best friends.
so now, eduardo is hurt and he’s suing mark, and markandeduardo doesn’t exsist anymore. they are two separate people now. and mark can go on living his life, naively thinking that eduardo stopped being his friend, stopped wanting mark around, because mark was too much, because mark cared about facebook and it’s success. mark gets to carry on with his life thinking that eduardo left because he just simply didn’t care enough about facebook, not like mark did. and mark will never understand that eduardo didn’t give a shit about power or money or success, he cared about mark, and what they could do together as a team. even if they had failed, eduardo still would have stuck by mark’s side the entire time. and mark will never fully understand that HE was the cause of his fallout with eduardo, not the business.

bc i am incapable of liking anything casually and have a compulsive need to combine my interests imagine a social network big brother au where the winklevii are the twin twist and get in an alliance with divya (the only one who figured out the twist) meanwhile mark/eduardo/dustin/chris have a four person alliance and eduardo has a showmance with christy who’s in an alliance with sean but she gets evicted pre-jury but not before telling sean to team up with the mark/eduardo/dustin/chris alliance so he joins up with them even tho he and eduardo dont like each other bc sean put eduardo up week one but mark says they need the numbers and really likes sean so eduardo agrees. and mark gets hoh some time in jury and makes a deal with the winklevosses (who are both in the game at this point) and divya but he double crosses them and puts them up on the block etc. so the house is divided and chris and dustin get evicted in the process so eduardo and mark make a final two deal and promise to be loyal to each other but mark and sean have also secretly made a deal so at the final three it’s mark eduardo and sean and mark wins the final hoh but chooses to evict eduardo which totally blindesides him so it’s a mark/sean final two and mark wins but eduardo doesn’t vote for him and eduardo wins america’s favorite houseguest bc it’s what he deserves. i could go more in depth but i won’t bc i know that this post is literally incomprehensible to anyone but me ahshhshdbd but i Needed to make it for some reason. oh and one of the winklevosses gives the same speech that dumbass austin gave on bb17 bc it’s the most incomprehensible bunch of idiotic nonsense i’ve ever witnessed and i think it fits them linked here
