I hope the universe blesses you with a moment of peace this week. You’re doing the right thing, and you’re going to be okay.
✎ last day of chem lab
11.27.18
I’ve been feeling so unmotivated lately and it honestly sucks :( but here’s some notes from my A&P 1 lecture that I was taking in Music Appreciation.
Not knowing what to do, where to go, I ended up at the only safe place: the library
my essay came to my parents’ house with me so i’ve parked myself at the old kitchen table and i’m drinking coffee out of a mug that looks like it has hedwig reading a book on it (rad) and enjoying the fact that the temperature here is cool enough that i am comfortably wearing a sweater. this is very good.
first day of november, first day of nano, first coffee of the day *✧・゚
9.27.2018 ~ 13/100 Days of Productivity
Spent the night finishing up a lab report for Circuit Theory and completed Statics homework….my brain is now currently burnt out so it’s time for bed.
Goodnight everyone!
29.09.18 • it’s the weekend, but the reading doesn’t stop! autumnal vibes 🍂
you’ve gotta stat romanticizing your life. you gotta start believing that your morning commute is cute and fun, that every cup of coffee is the best you’ve ever had, that even the smallest and most mundane things are exciting and new. you have to, because that’s when you start truly living. that’s when you look forward to every day.
Good afternoon, the academic culture of “if you’re not overworking, you don’t deserve success” is unhealthy.
ingredients to be happy:
- something to look forward to. it doesn’t have to be a big thing. it can be going into your soft bed, wearing warm pajamas after a nice shower, or making yourself a cute breakfast. this can also be a goal you really want to achieve, like getting better at drawing or getting the courage to talk to new people.
- someone to love. this can be many people;your friends, your family, your pet, your favorite singer or your crush. try to spend more time talking to or including them in your life somehow. although solitude is nice it’s really good for mental health to spend time with people u love.
- something to love. this can be a hobby you like doing, whether it’s making art, coding, going to coffee shops, baking cakes or listening to music. do more of these things in your day, and find a reason to wake up excited in the morning.
- self love and self acceptance. this means forgiving your mistakes, learning to laugh at embarrassing things, not dwelling on the past, and stopping bad thoughts about yourself. this is self care; dancing alone in your room, going for walks, listening to happy songs, and taking care of yourself like going to bed earlier and drinking enough water. remember you’re a beautiful human who deserves happiness and an amazing life. :)
