I don't know which artist needs to hear this, but if you don't like your lineart...if you find that the lineart stage does not add any value to your artwork...then you do not need to do lineart. your artwork is still complete if you go straight from sketch to colours. as long as you think it's complete.

The same goes for any stage of art making. does shading not bring joy or improve the piece in your eyes? then you do not need to shade! some art styles genuinely look better without shading!

I Quite Literally stopped doing lineart because i hated doing it and not only does my art look better because i am foregoing something that i actively hated but it allowed me to spend more of my time doing the parts i loved (rendering & lighting) and inevitably get better at those things.

The numbers next to the names have no significance beyond ease of navigation for me for when I check their progress in the future. You should look at the disclaimers instead and focus on those. Occasionally I will update these with new info, including new fundraisers, and the amount of cash that's been raised. Check in regularly on the original post when you see it being reblogged. In all likelihood once its reached you it's already outdated. This post is part of this masterpost series compiling fundraisers for Ghazzah and Sudan. I focus on Ghazzah as I am Palestinian and am more equipped to do verifications as I'm more familiar with my own country and its politics and dialect, but if I know a fundraiser for a Sudanese family is legit I will include it here.

Controversial opinion but we need to apply anti-cringe culture shit to "edgy" art too. Like songs/poems/art/etc are not bad just because they're angry or sad or otherwise emotional and they're not bad for dark and violent. So much "edgy" stuff is just explorations of dark topics and/or mentally ill people working through shit via art.

Cringe culture isn't just bad when it's applied to positive expressions of emotion, it's also bad when applied to the angry and sad shit too. Let people be angry and sad in their art. It's fine.

Israel is attacking East Rafah right now, and Hamas has agreed to a truce proposal put forward by mediators, which Israel and the US are currently reviewing. There's a lot of pressure for Israel to accept the deal, including pressure from protesters in Tel Aviv demanding a deal to release hostages. But for a while now Netanyahu has been saying they'll attack Rafah even if there is a ceasefire
