With that said could someone please write me a fluffy comfort fic with Erik? My day has been completely and utterly shit as I've failed to get my drivers' license for like the 5th time despite knowing what I'm doing and the instructor yelled at me which just brought all of my trauma front and center for me (hence why I failed again) and I'm just desperately in need of something comforting right now while I try to drown my bullshit in fudge and chocolate ice cream.

Rain. When she looked out the window, she could hardly see anything because thick raindrops smeared the window. Gray, dense clouds hung low over the city and although it was only morning, it was nearly dark outside. She sighed softly. She was looking forward to going to the park with Erik, strolling along the lake and having a small picnic on one of the many meadows. The week had been stressful and she was in desperate need of some relaxation. She had not expected that the weather would thwart her plans.

After a brief greeting, James invited him to join them and it didn't take Damien long to figure out why.

The day had been stressful and yes, he had in mind that they wanted to come over. But he had forgotten that one of his brothers was also at home and would open the front door. He just wanted to relax for five minutes and give his true nature some space when the door opened and they stood in the room. He had expected panic, shouting and already preparing to stop them from escaping. Even the idea of erasing their memory of what they saw had crossed his mind. But instead they just stood there and stared at him. He would not have dreamed that a smile would finally spread across their face. "Wow, that's... wow..." they stammered and took a step towards him.

I'd rather write about their life before the game (aka before they get to know real love etc) but aside from rape, gore or extreme violent I think I'm willing to try to write it;) I just want you to know that I enjoy drawing her past traumas and behaviors into their actions, which doesn't always make them seem sweet.

And as much as his mind balked because he didn't want to eat like this, his body wanted it, needed it and he knew was going to get it.

The first time he talks to a human almost ends in disaster for him. It starts with James, even though he already has a solid basic knowledge, feels inferior in the course of the conversation because the other person seems to have more knowledge in the area. Of course, he didn't have that much time to deal with everything that could be interesting, but he hasn't felt so uninformed in a long time. And then he is also interrupted and corrected by his counterpart. In the middle of a sentence! As if it were perfectly fine to interrupt the heir to the throne and the future ruler of a vast army... Damien has to put a soothing hand on James' arm to snap him out of his vortex of thoughts and bring him back to the present. And James? He feels ashamed. He will definitely work to be a perfect gentleman. Never again will a person upset him so much that his little brother has to stop him. The very next time he has a conversation, he takes over the conversation in a natural way, without feeling the slightest hint of discomfort. Just as it should be for him.
