… so MAYBE I gave up on naming the last four pokemon to sketch Raihan’s sygna suit with his Dialga, Kairos.

Some things might still change, and I still need to work on Kira’s sygna with her Giratina, Dusk, and then there’s @imperialsea​ ‘s Elizabeth and her Palkia, Bisera.

          She cradles the egg close to her chest: a mother protecting her defenseless child. No string of words in any conceived language, written, spoken, or otherwise could convince Elizabeth to give this girl such a precious commodity-- not with her energy.  ❝ I’ll have a word with Raihan and Sonia about this. You are not to go near. ❞

I’ll spare the tags from going crazy in-depth about their relationship, but Elizabeth is grateful to Louis for bringing her back to herself; she’d been accustomed to violence and fighting for others long before the Great Collapse, but not to the extent the world demanded after. Arguments over her place in Project Queen, her combat role in Operation Queenslayer, and the dreary years that followed took its toll on her. When the wall of Red Mist went up, she had no way of returning to her family– if they were even alive at all. She was trapped and alone, the last known member of her anomalous bloodline. All that was left for her was to continue doing what she’d been doing up to that point, no matter how futile it felt: clear out the Lost, and dispose of revenants too far gone to save from frenzy… if it came to that. It was a disheartening prospect.

It was Louis who reached out to her and offered Elizabeth a proper sanctuary, having remembered her from the day of the Collapse where the two had initially met. By the end of their conversation, they chose to cooperate with one another for the sake of protecting the lives within Vein, and have remained partners since. While they aren’t together in a ‘couple’ sense yet, they serve as each other’s moral support. Elizabeth is often Louis’ voice of reason when guilt begins to gnaw at his heart, and Lou & Co. are there to remind Elizabeth of her humanity– that she was always worthy of the life she’d been given. Anywayyy….
