Vox mews discontentedly, licking Val’s fingers.

Valentino smiles softly

‘‘ Aren’t you a lil cutie? ’’

He pets him.

Vox purrs louder, scraping his tongue along the bottom of Val’s jaw and flattening his ears.

‘‘ Hm…. What should I name you? How about after Vox! Since your fur pattern is like him. ’’

Vox rolls his eyes and nips at Val’s fingers, trying to tell him that he is Vox.

‘‘ Yup. I’m naming you Vox. ’’

Vox sighs a catty sigh, accepting his fate.

‘‘ What’s wrong kitty? Hungry? ’’

Vox purrs, nuzzling into Valentino’s neck again. He rubs against the fluff around Val’s collar and starts to burrow into it.

‘‘ Is that a yes? ’’

Vox nods slightly, licking at his neck again.

Valentino looks surprised at the nod, raising a brow

‘‘ If you can understand me… Touch my hat. ’’

Vox reaches up and pats at Val’s hat, trying to reach the feather.

‘‘ …. Pat the stripes three times. ’’

Vox struggles onto the brim of Valentino’s top hat, his claws extending slightly as he pats the stripes three times before focusing on the feather.

‘‘ Why so focused on the feather? ’’

Vox just meows in response and bats at the feather, hissing when it touches his nose.

He snrks

‘‘ Silly cat. ’’

“Mrow-” Vox hisses as he halfway falls off of Val’s hat, clawing into the brim to stay up.

He holds him

‘‘ Stop. Your gonna rip the hat! ’’

Vox bats at Val’s glasses, meowing cheekily.

Valentino’s smile became a dark and sinister grin

‘‘ I wonder if cats really DO land on their feet… ’’

Vox’s eyes widen and he sinks his claws into Val’s hands, scared noises slipping from his throat.

‘‘ Pussy. ’’

Vox whimpers, licking at Val’s hands, silently begging him not to drop him.

Valentino raises Vox up high

‘‘ IMMA THROW YOU- ’’

Vox screeches, his mewling panicked and frightened.

‘‘ Okay okay, shush or I’ll throw you. ’’

Vox whines and clings to Valentino’s hand, trembling.

‘‘ Also, question, are you Vox? ’’

Valentino smiles softly

‘‘ Aren’t you a lil cutie? ’’

He pets him.
