As far as Meta had ever known beforehand, the sky was a concept created by those who lived on planets with atmospheres. There was no true sky, only the vast universal vacuum of inky space and dotted stars.

He wasn’t sure most of the time if what Sir Astra did constituted “teaching” or “learning” of any kind— in fact, he was fairly certain that Astra was hardly a teacher. But if learning was the acquisition of new knowledge and teaching was the granting of it, Meta supposed that he learned from Astra how beautiful sunsets were.

About Morpho… Though they are (maybe) pleasant, Astra hopes that Meta will never have to encounter them naturally.

It’s not the first dubious portal that Astra has gone through, and certainly won’t be the last. The first thing that awaits him on the other side, though, is a splitting image of his past, bubbly and curious and friendly. The masked knight that stands behind him can only be one person, though, and Astra concludes quickly that this could not be time travel.

Conversations are had, and when both sides confirm that there is no active threat to handle, both settle down some.
