right i need to stop doing the thing where i don't blog for like 4 months. 

2 things, I've got a new tune that im so excited about i could cry, aaand im in the middle of making grown up decisions about my future that i can't deal with. both music related. cos yes, yes I've decided i want to go salford uni to study either broadcasting journalism or television & radio. shock horror i think i might've found a thing im passionate about.

on now to the more important thing, TUNES. and its a really good one. this band recently appeared out of thin air. at least thats what they want you to think (you’ll find out at some point). with 0 announcements made, they didn't even have any social media accounts set up, this tune was made annie mac’s hottest record. obviously articles started popping up on all the blogs. DIY wrote an article about them and their song officially premiered on noisey. the band im talking about is 

MULÀN 

and their song night. i heard the intro and knew good things were coming. the slightly creepy guitar bit instantly grabs your attention and makes you expect something completely different than the r&b influenced alt pop track that it is. or as my mate described it, “i felt like i was about to have a seizure but then i entered paradise”. the combination of synths, sexy guitar bits and the singers unique sounding voice make this record such a success. 

after doing some digging i found out they are currently recording in a studio somewhere in spain (via @ijacksonx) and their next single is good to go. as far as i knew they already had an album ready for release back in like march (once again you’ll find out at some point) but maybe they're redoing some tracks or something. 

no one can predict where mulàn are going to take us on their journey, all i know I'm incredibly excited to find out.
