Prayer Update:

Hey everyone, I thought I would jump on here and give an update and give some encouragement in these times we are living in since I have a lot of free time.

Church:

During this time my church has been following the guide lines put forth by the government however they are still working on putting together online material so that we do not grow weary. Please keep my church in your prayers there are a lot of older couples and that are very scared during this time.

My Family:

My family has been effective hard by the COVID-19 virus my brother in-law has the virus and is in the hospital.

My family's pizza business is struggling to keep up with everything and it's putting a toll on their mental strength. We are in a high effective place with 59 cases just in our small county. So please keep my family and the business in your prayers.

God is Sovereign:

One thing I see happening is so many people getting scared of what is to come and their for getting or even worse denying the sovereignty of God. During these times we have to remember that God is sovereign. The sovereignty of God refers to the fact that God is in complete control of the universe. The sovereignty of God impacts everyday life in that it removes all cause for worry. God being sovereign means nothing in the universe occurs without God’s permission. God has the power and knowledge to prevent anything He chooses to prevent, even COVID-19. Take heart in the fact that God is sovereign and when He wants all this to be over it will be finished. At this point while we wait on God's timing do not grow lazy or fearful but always seek Him and continue to grow in your sanctification.

(If anyone one needs prayer please feel free to to let me know. This is a time of prayer.)

Goodbye.

So its time for me to say goodbye and thank you. It's time for me to leave Tumblr (for many reasons). I have been debating with myself if I should go or stay, and I personly believe that God is calling me to leave and work on other things. So this post is to say goodbye and thank all of you that have been here for me but also this post is challenge you in your relationship with Christ.

So I say “goodbye“ but I pray that goodbye is just for a short time. I pray that I will one day see you all in heaven. But I know the gate is narrow (Matthew 7:14) and many reading this right now will one day die and go to hell. I know most of you say you are Christians but in all reality you are arent. There are a lot of people that call themselves followers of Jesus Christ but are still in love there sins and they know it's wrong but they don't care. They rather have their sins then Jesus.

I am concerned that even though some of you call yourself a Christian, some of you one day will go to hell, to be tormented day and night forever and ever and by the time you realize it, you will be out of time. That is why I am warning you right now that we are all going to stand before God, and He's going to say one of two things, either "Well done, good and faithful servant" or "Depart from Me I never knew you" (Matthew 25:23, Matthew 7:21-23.) That terrifies me. Matthew 7:21-23 scares me to death, Jesus is saying many people will think they're going to heaven but they aren't. And that's judgment day. That's the end. There are no second chances. That is the last peaceful breath that “many” will breathe before they spend the rest of their life in hell. Now my question to you is: Are you going to be one of those "many" people.?

Remember we all will stand before God, and at that moment what is really going to matter? Is it going to matter whether you have graduated from college? No. Is it going to matter whether you've written a song, or whether or not you've traveled the world or made so much money? Nothing is going to matter when your breaths away from eternity either in heaven or in hell. All that matters is to hear two words come out the mouth of God,"Well Done." That's all that matters.

Get right with God before it's too late. Put your faith and trust in what Jesus has done for you and start working for those two words because that's all that matters. If you are not right with God, then get right, stop whatever you are doing and get right. Don't do anything until you are right with God, don't go to school, don't go to work, don't eat, don't play a game just get right with God before it's too late. The world gives you many options while you are here, but eternity only gives you two, heaven or hell. Which one are you going to go to?

I pray that you get right with God so that this goodbye with not be forever but we will one day see each other in heaven.  The Bible makes it clear that we are justified not by our works, not by our efforts, not by our deeds, but by faith and by faith alone. The only way you can receive the benefit of Christ’s life and death is by putting your trust in Him and in Him alone. You do that, you are declared just by God, you are adopted into His family, you are forgiven of all of your sins and you will one day be in heaven giving glory to the one who deserves all the glory.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone that has encouraged me or shared the posts in any way.

You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Is Sign of the Cross biblical? Please provide scriptures with your answer, Thank you!! Btw, I’m not a Catholic.

The Sign of the Cross is the movement of the right hand from the forehead to the chest and then left and right upon the shoulders. It can also be made in the air without touching the person. It is often used as a form of prayer.

I really can not give you scripture in my answer because the sign of the cross is unsupported by Scripture. It is not mentioned nor seen in scripture anywhere.

I do know that Catholics find support for the sign of the cross primarily in their many years of church tradition and, in Exodus 17:9-14 and Revelation 7:3; 9:4; 14:1. While the passages do speak of a sign on the forehead for protection from God's judgment, the verse must be interpreted in light of their context. So when we do that there is no reason to believe any of the verses are plainly talking about the Sign of the Cross.

So the sign of the cross is not biblical and it is by no means required of Christians because it is not instructed by the Word of God.

A response to the anon who asked you to change their mind, and a question for you - Isn't God the Father, though?

You are correct scripture contains about 170 references to God as the “Father.”  In countless references to God in Scripture, there is clearly a consistent pattern of His being referred to with masculine titles, nouns, and pronouns. While God is not a man, He chose a masculine form in order to reveal Himself to humanity. Most people call this “anthropomorphism.” Anthropomorphism is simply a means for God (a spiritual being) to communicate truth about His nature to humanity, physical beings. Since humanity is physical, we are limited in our understanding of those things beyond the physical realm; therefore, anthropomorphism in Scripture helps us to understand who God is.

Should people make images of Christ?? I don’t like it (statues drawings etc)

When God first gave His Law to mankind, He began with a statement of who He is: “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt” (Exodus 20:2) with a warning that Israel was to have no other God but Him. He immediately followed that by forbidding the making of any image of anything “in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters below” (Exodus 20:4) for the purpose of worshiping or bowing down to it. Disobeying this command would be called idolatry. However, simply having an image of Jesus hanging in a home or church does not mean people are practicing idolatry. It is possible that a portrait of Jesus or a crucifix can become an object of worship, in which case the worshiper is at fault. But there is nothing in the New Testament that would specifically forbid a Christian from having a picture of Jesus. Having an image if Christ could well be a reminder to pray, to refocus on the Lord, or to follow in Christ’s footsteps. But believers should know that the Lord cannot be reduced to a two-dimensional image and that prayer or praises is not to be offered to a picture. A picture will never be a complete image of God or accurately display His glory, and should never be a substitute for how we view God or deepen our knowledge of Him. And, of course, even the most beautiful representation of Jesus Christ is nothing more than one artist’s conception of what the Lord looked like.

God is woman change my mind

I will let the Word of God change your mind. John 4:24 states, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” Since God is a spiritual being, He does not possess physical human characteristics.

The Bible is: About Jesus

The Bible is a story, and the hero of the story is Jesus. In some way, every part of the Bible points forward to him or points back to him. Bryan Chapell writes that every text is predictive of the work of Christ, preparatory of the work of Christ, reflective of the work of Christ, and/or resultant of the work of Christ." As the Bible tells the grand story of what God is doing in the world, it tells us how he is doing it through Jesus. Jesus is on every page of the Bible.
