A/N: My first ever x reader fanfiction and the first I’ve posted on this site! Please let me know what you think since I’m rusty when it comes to writing, and it was surprisingly hard to write x reader! I hope you enjoy.
“Please don’t go!” you begged, eyes tearing up as you tightened your grip on Loki’s hand in a desperate attempt to keep him there, with you. You didn’t know why, but something was telling you not to let Loki go on this mission. That something was going to go horribly wrong.
Maybe you were just nervous about your own mission, but you had been taught to listen to your gut and you were rarely wrong.
The god in question stared down at you, a feeling in his chest he could not label, he knew very well what it took to retrieve the soul stone and he was set it his decision.
At that moment, however, as he stared down at the midgardian girl he had grown to love more he had ever thought himself capable, Loki wanted nothing more than to agree to stay. To run away with you, across the galaxy if that’s what it took… but he had changed. You had changed him.
