Some of my all time favorites 😊🤓📚📚💚💚 #bookstagram #nerd
Posters I want for my new place: (A post because 1. I can't find a flingin-flangin ink pen to write it so I can start crossing them off and 2. Because I have entered the Kingdom of the Nerds (Tumblr) where I shan't be judged for my intensely nerdy poster list ;) 1. Some sort of Slytherin wall hanging (Tom Felton's face- a Plus 💚🐍) 2. A Supernatural poster of the boys, Cas and Crowley 3. A Grey's poster with the original crew 4. A Luke's Diner poster 5. A FRIENDS poster 6. A Shameless Poster 7. Day of the Doctor Poster with all Doctors 8. Sons of Anarchy Poster 9. AHS poster 10. Fleetwood Mac poster 11. Skynyrd Poster 12. Tupac poster 13. ACDC Bon Scott era poster 14. Boy Meets World Poster **Bonus** For my kids room: Peppa, Masha, Paw Patrol and McQueen If I think of any others I shall edit the list.
My Brain every time I'm home alone at night: "Oh hey, I see you are feeling comfortable and not at all creeped out...here's a short flashback montage to remind you of every scary thing you've ever seen, heard or read. Sleep tight, now. 😉" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hi to all and sorry for the long hiatus :) Two months ago I ran (and I literally mean ran) from an abusive relationship (my children's father.) Things have been so crazy and hectic and I haven't been able to take time to promote or blog. I do plan to write a LONG blog post about my experience, feelings and all of that but I'm not sure when as I only have my phone for internet. I just wanted to say that I am safe, I am getting on my feet and although I am stressed about money, I am HAPPY!!! I can't wait to get back to writing, promoting and blogging! Thanks for sticking with me throughout my hiatus! Ya'll the bomb :-) 🙋🙌😘✌👊☝💚💚💞🌼🌸🎉🎊🎆💯
The issue here is that you’re all looking at the word “violence” and thinking it has to mean “literally hitting someone,” which is not true at all. Physical violence is only one of many examples of violence, and you’re just being purposefully ignorant when you tell us otherwise.
Just look at examples, like domestic violence which is not solely characterized as physical abuse. Physical abuse is most definitely included in domestic violence but we’re also talking about violence that can be verbal, psychological, and emotional. This extends into a whole other chunk of examples when we include children. There may be other terms that describe what a partner or child is going through but that doesn’t mean it’s not also violence.
Something like ableism IS violence because you are discriminating and causing harm to people with disabilities. You may not be literally punching us in the face, but you’re deliberately hurting us and preventing us from living according to our basic needs. This doesn’t even include structural ableism which takes all this to another level and hurts us in ways you can’t even imagine. (And I use ableism as an example because that’s where all this debate has stemmed from today but it extends to other things like racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.)
This shouldn’t even be controversial to say, the word “violence,” has never been solely about physical harm. Like, give me a break already.
