You know, the grounder peace loving character who lived in Arkadia for 3 months and knew them? After Lexa had Arkadia under siege and Skairats fucking realized post apocalyptic Trump will get them all killed they would hand Pike over. Lincoln argues for Pikes life and blood must not have blood, something Lexa always wanted and with Lincoln’s honesty and courage she is convinced, finally takes the final step and Pike gets banished instead of Emerson.  Then have the Skaishits be on a waiting line and put actual effort into becoming the 13th clan properly. Have Linctavia be ambassadors because Clarke was gone for so long she had no idea wtf was going on in Arkadia??? And then move on with showing us the other 10 clans we deserved. This fixes the xenophobia, colonialism, racism… @ladyshadowwalker sorry I stole your Linctavia ambassadors idea, it just fit well in my rant 

Feel free to steal more of my ideas if it fixes the massive plot holes and ridiculousness that revealed how truly incompetent the CW Network is to allow something like s3 to even be filmed, much less aired to the public. I’m (obviously) a Linctavia shipper and there was so much potential story for Lincoln and Octavia that was lost because of jflop’s racist writing and shitty storytelling.

Octavia was Lincoln’s eyes and ears outside Arkadia because he couldn’t leave. She was the first Skaikru to step foot on earth, the first to seek peace with the Grounders, the first to fall in love with a Grounder, the first to appropriate learn Grounder culture, the first to become a part of their society (as Indra’s Second for all of a week) and speak Trigedasleng.

Lincoln was a military leader (as shown in 2x15), Lincoln was the first Grounder who sought peace, he met Luna on his “travels” (and even has multiple maps in his journal), he lived in Arkadia with the Sky People for three months, he’s an artist like Clarke, he grew up with Anya and Lexa and Indra. Hell, he even still believed in Abby’s and Kane’s leadership after Abby had already proved herself to be a fucking idiot. Lincoln was Octavia’s sole trainer for THREE MONTHS in Arkadia, including how to ride a horse and how to fight....which is a huge part of the reason why I hate Luna because she made it seem like Lincoln would disapprove of Octavia??? HE’S BEEN FUCKING TEACHING HER THAT SHIT SINCE THE FIRST MOMENT THEY MET! (”We’ll make a warrior out of you yet.”)

Can a kind someone please direct me to any purely awesome Lincoln-centric or Linctavia-centric fics? I just realized I’ve never read a single 100 fic and if I’m gonna start, I may as well raise anchor with my first fandom ship.

(and please no fics where they’re the side piece and get walked over. they need to be front and centre, or Lincoln does. he’s my main man, and he’s important to me.)
