How happy would you be if you were given the chance to be an Alpha to your own pack? How would you run things?

“Being Alpha is more about making difficult decisions than necessarily being likable. Sometimes I think I wouldn’t have the patience for it, seeing what my husband had to deal with in the few years we were married but if I ever got the chance I believe I would take it.”

👀 do you think Kyle is a good alpha?

“When he’s not being an arrogant asshole...sometimes.”

👀 what do you think of your packmates? Anyone you really don't like?

“I think the better question would be is there anyone I do like?”

👀 Why are you still in Kyle's pack? You could be like Cersei Lannister and be a ruler

“A good point, but werewolf politics are not that simple. One does not simply start their own pack without spilling blood. I’d have ensure that’d i’d come out on top or else what would be the point?”

“They always do.” He said in a joking manner, though he knew how real that specific problem was. Being a vampire in a mostly werewolf-ran establishment was never easy, but he had made it work so far, and would continue to do so. “You ready to pretend to be normal humans, naive of anything going on in this world?”
Sarah smiled and nodded, “Come, time to get in touch with our humanity.” she laughed and held out her elbow. “I know a perfect place.” She said leading him down a few blocks till they came across a small rooftop restaurant. “Best brunch in the city.” she exclaimed.

“Maybe I’m just tuning into my sixth sense I got ever since I was turned.” He winked back jokingly before adding, “I’ll meet you outside in five to head on over to some brunch place.”
*Five minutes later*

Sarah stood leaning against the wall outside the bar waiting for Noah to meet her. She was in slight disbelief that someone had actually wanted to do something normal with her. When she saw his face she smiled, “Kyle’s minions give you any trouble?” she joked.

Noah shuffled out a laugh, though a very meek one that seemed rather forced. “I don’t think it’s all what it’s cracked out to be, but I guess I am still young. Got plenty of experience that I need to gain before I can accurately figure it all out.” He smirked back. “Thanks, I’m sure if we’re all still here, you’ll figure things out too. That’s how things usually work. Change is inevitable, we just have to adjust accordingly, right?”

Sarah nodded, “Right, hard to imagine now but at one point in my life I thought I had it all figured out. I suppose if it happened once, it can happen again.” She said with a smile. “Well, anyways I think I should get going.” Sarah was a little sad to end the conversation but it was really late and she knew if he worked at the Strange Brew she’d see him again. “It was really nice to meet you, though. I hope we run into each other soon.”

“Why, you thinking about how many mimosas we can drown ourselves in? Because if that’s the case, I’ll find someone to cover the rest of my shift.”
“Mm philosophical and psychic. I’m impressed Noah.”

“Well, it’s a hopeful future at least, right? Something to at least look forward to, because if you lose that, you sort of lose…yourself.” He didn’t want to make everything seem so bleak and dismal, but at this point, it felt like a voice people were forgetting about. “Glad to hear I’m not the only one, because I can honestly say that it feels like my life is falling apart a majority of the time.”

“I suppose so. Unless this is the best that I’m going to get. Being immortal is a gift and a curse but I suppose you at least get to live with the knowledge that you’ll outlive all this.” She said with a shrug. “I might not be so lucky.” There were a lot of great aspects to being a werewolf however vampires certainly had the upper hand on time. Sarah reached out and touched his arm gently, “You seem like a bright guy, give yourself a couple decades and i’m sure you’ll have this crazy shit all figured out.” She said winking at him.
