Derek and Laura were forced to kill and hurt many people and androids for the sake of Gerard and Kate Argent and obtaining information they seek out. Kate used Derek to satisfy herself and to mess with his program more, causing Derek to have emotional instability and doubting the red wall that stopped him from running away. Laura noticed and started to doubt herself, started to talk back, to resist and one night on a mission sent by the Argents she was destroyed and Derek deviated, he ran away and kept running his head a mess of commands and errors he ran till he arrived at a house on the outskirts of town. at the door stood another android, his jaw crooked and his hair floppy he invited Derek in telling him he’s safe there, but Derek couldn’t understand, his system was shutting down and restarting again every few seconds. a hand surprised him into awareness, a human hand that felt very familiar. “Derek, what have they done to you” a warm soothing voice said, mole speckled face and brown golden eyes met him and Derek felt his memory core steer. “Mr. Stilinski?” Derek said, voice croaky from the errors in his speech codes. “yes, that’s me! though call me Stiles,” his eyes swept over Derek’s face, looking sad and pitying “you two were my best creations, im sorry i failed to protect you guys, you deserved better, ” Stiles’s other hand landed on Derek’s shoulder “you are safe here Derek, it is your home, where you were created, where you belong” stiles finished with another soft smile, and something started steering in his system again, his thirium pump beating slightly faster and his hands felt warm for some reason. He remembered something his sister said but the memory wouldn’t surface, too many errors, too many mistakes. “lets get you fixed a lil ok?” and Derek nodded. Basically its Android Derek beginning his life again as a deviant beside the inventor of androids after loosing his sister to the Argents.
