first up: Life Mission: Save My Brothers (Comic) 🌟

"Life Mission: Save My Brothers" is a Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles separated AU (alternate universe) where it explores on the concept that Splinter saved only one turtle after the mutation process: Leo. The other turtles are separated in the world: Raph was brought to and raised by Big Mama to be a Battle Nexus Champion, Mikey was taken by Draxum and trained to become a warrior to combat humans for the Yokai to take over the surface, and Donnie was thought to be dead but was taken in by a mob until he ran away and found Big Mama at the age of 7. Their story involves their process of finding out that they are not alone, that they have family, and how they reunite and become the ninjas they were always meant to be.

i held off introducing my version of usagi for so long ckska

he met leo when they were 13 and leo was stealing toys from his family’s shop. he was understandably upset but befriend him after finding out it was for his missing brothers.

he’s not appearing in the canon comic because i want the comic to be family focused and to stay with the show 💖 he will only appear in side content of LM~ also i’m a taller usagi truther because leo needs his ego knocked down :P and he’s a gnc king ✨️ • ( 🌿 please do NOT repost, edit, trace, use, and/or sell 🌿 )

mostly made this piece as a counter to the remarks that LM!Leo is a sweet, innocent, naive child that only cries about his missing brothers. while he is emotional (and a lot of promotional shit and the only content about him paints him in that light), he is far from innocent and soft. what we see of him now is the face he puts on so people won’t assume too much of him, just like canon leo. after all, he’s seen what the search for his brothers has done to his father. sometimes, you have to be a little cold to walk in the flames.

some concept sketches of LM!Leo wearing clothes for the cold. he has trauma from childhood involving the cold and ever since, he’s hated the cold. you’ll find out why at some point and you’ll also see leo wearing warm wear at several points in the comic~ i try to find a balance with my style and the show’s style because i don’t want to drift from canon too much.
