sending this twice won’t make me understand why you’re sending this to me any better

I have a very skewed view on what sx is I think - It’s often described as intimacy and intensity? So I assume that if you’ve ever had a bond with anyone or had one emotionally charged and fulfilling conversation you have sx - Is that the case or would you have to actively seek it out and experience it often?

that is… literally not true.

actually wait yes it is. sx blinds have never had a deep connection or meaningful conversation ever. sorry, my mistake

it's true, i have exactly 2 pre-programmed responses to any sort of attempt to make conversation--one about burn heals and the other about how much I love the caterpie I got from my mom when I was 6

Dialogue with MBTI blogs on Tumblr is fundamentally boring because they’re all snark, biased judgement and narrowminded opinions and there’s no actual logic or anything that feels like something accurate. Shame. Imagine what they could do with all their knowledge if they weren’t busy shoving their opinion down some stranger’s throat.

Why does this sound like something Donald trump would tweet

broke: Fi users are more likely to mistype because immature and unhealthy Fi tends to focus on what it wishes it was, instead of what it authentically is, but this can be overcome by personal growth and being mistyped is not a death sentence nor an insult

woke: everyone you don’t like is automatically a mistyped Fi user

broke: SO-blinds neither realize nor care about social dynamics

woke: every rude person is part of an exclusively SO/sp pseudo-typology gang led by [random user] whose sole aim is to massage one another’s fragile egos, prevent unapproved type combinations from posting their opinions, and squash people’s individuality

i think its important to remember that every contraflow, including social variants, come to the table with an ‘i hate everyone’ complex. we’re naturally pushed away from people, and often self-isolate. even sxso/sosp self isolates because it’s driven from others. it just manifests differently for each variant.

sosp:

I hate people, so I’m going to self isolate until i can prove my worth to the world and society. or get in good with the right people.
a lot of so/sp ‘activities’ put them at risk for social rejection because contraflow, which only makes their complex stronger and makes them feel more rejected/try harder to be liked or valued, which becomes a negative feedback loop. they don’t want to be rejected, but realize they often are. a lot of sosp people have anxiety as a result, though this isn’t a hard and fast rule.

sxso:

i hate people, but i need to be around them to find my real friends and forge bonds that allow me to survive
sxso has a habit of putting itself ‘out there’ only to withdraw if they don’t connect with something immediately. they may outwardly appear friendly, but are actually very choosy with what they do and who they spend time with, though they often take care not to appear that way because appearing unfriendly or stand-offish can drive away the wrong people– the people sxso likes and wants to deepen bonds with.

spsx:

i hate people, so I’m only going to leave my house once a week and only talk to people that don’t tire me out or trigger my sp, which could be no-one a lot of the time
a lot of spsx ‘passions’ are solitary/allow for minimal interaction with those that ‘tire them’, or are low maintenance. to people they want to like, they might appear awkward or strange, and have a habit of pulling back into their comfort zone after any sort of stressful or annoying activity/person, which has the effect of them coming across as stand-offish or absent a lot. they connect to people with no rhyme or reason, and may seem arbitrary or odd in what they choose to do, as their sp is finicky.

obviously this reflects average health and not super unhealthy/super healthy levels of health

I’ve decided that from this point forward I am never getting involved in a conversation about mbti off of the Internet ever again

There comes a point where you realize that no one actually has any sort of interest in the topic outside of how it can practically help them

Which is absolutely understandable, if somewhat midguided due to the application being off

Taking it any further just makes you look like a pretentious buffoon

A post about sx:

Alright, so in wake of certain things, I thought it would be beneficial to expand on a specific quality of sx: the merging/other worlds/vastly individualized way that sx views people. I hope this helps some sx blinds understand sx and why it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
