so we know Tim is Bruces Robin and Damian is Dicks Robin.

but who is Jason the perfect robin for??

The answer is Cass

so anyways given more time to think then some sleep after those 36 hours then more no sleep but lots of think

  • Stephs perfect match would actually be Batwoman Helena but in sticking with Batman and Robin, her perfect Batman would be Damian.

I dont say Jason for Steph bc theyre very different and too similar for a lot of reasons but also bc I dont think Jason would ever be or want to be Batman.

also my tags from first post bc theyre IMPORTANT

(First screenshot of tags;

Its all in the intent. Tim and Bruce are Detectives. they read and know eachother Extensively. They know eachother like they know themselves and that gives them comfort. Dami and Dick however. Its always something new to learn and love and be active over. Dick is everything Dami never got. and Dami is. Quite Literally. All of Dicks issues rolled into one. Bruce and his brothers and assassin training and too much emotion for a small body untethered from the world but wanting connection. But Jason? he doesnt trust words. he reads because the books say the actions AND the meaning AND the intent.

Second screenshot, tags continued;

they give everything people DONT say. and Cass? oh She Knows. she would understand him and he could trust her because its ALWAYS action with her. her words are always behind her actions and never the other way around. and Jason whos direct and upfront with all his enthusiasm and love to share of the words he reads to cas??? anyways im totally normal about this and its not 1am on the day i have 2 projects due with finals next week.

end screenshot description)

"We caught a transmission," the message from the stars began, "that simply said 'we exist and we are glad you also exist'. We do not know who sent it, but if you catch this, know that we exist and we are glad you exist."

"Shall we pass it on?"

"Like a chain letter?"

"Yes?"

"Yes."

I honestly don't think he is a Zionist ideologically. That would imply that he thinks that Israel is the motherland or something. I don't think he thinks that.

It has always felt to me that he is in line with the rest of the highest level American gov't ghouls who just want a better platform to spy on the Arab and non-NATO nations in the area

I'm not saying all this to disagree with you, quite the opposite. I'm trying to temper your hate into something with clearer vision. With refined resolve.

Biden deserves your ire, but we do ourselves a disservice by making him out to be a frothing-at-the-mouth Zionist.

He doesn't care about Palestinians. They're just another brown poor in his eyes; a means to an end.

also it is really silly to say that someone who supports the existence of the zionist state is not a zionist because they do so for "nonideological" (?) geopolitical reasons or other reasons other than believing that jews have a god-given right to set up an ethnostate in palestine because of it being the promised land. by this logic, fucking herzl wasn't a zionist because he didn't give a shit about where the jewish settler colonial ethnostate would be, palestine was just one spot on a list of possible targets for him. that is, ofc, complete nonsense

the only reason why ten year old girls are destroying stupidly overpriced products at sephora to make “skincare smoothies” is because they aren’t being given access to a yard with a variety of mud, sticks, rocks, puddles, and old ceramic planters to make potions in. the children yearn for the apothecary

Can you please elaborate on the Stephen Colbert RPF thing. This is a judgment free zone I’m just deathly curious

Ah yes well you see Stephen Colbert used to play a parody of a Fox News pundit on a show called The Colbert Report (American news satire program popular in the late 00s/early 10s). The character was explicitly a closeted gay man who was driven to conservatism due to his own insecurity/internalized homophobia. He had a homoerotic relationship with Jon Stewart whom he pretended to hate but had several romantic moments with.

When their shows ended they wrote a soft epilogue for their fictionalized selves where they retire to a cabin in the woods together and it’s implied they’re married now. The most beautiful self-written rpf of all time.

It was a beautiful slow burn self-written rpf that unfolded over, like, 10 years they worked together? It started as a joke but ended up being a genuine canon part of the fictionalized Stephen Colbert? I’m not joking.

We’ve literally lost such a fundamental part of our culture the day someone comes into my ask to be like “what would Stephen Colbert rpf even conceivably be about?”

Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

And the probe is working again.

From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.

Katsuki Yuuri is so funny because dude is an Olympic level figure skater who competes internationally regularly and he introduces himself through narration in the first episode as very average in skill, who is doing it like him.

Your self confidence may be bad but is it deluding yourself into thinking you suck at something you rank sixth in the world at bad?

the simplicity of lactase supplements is so funny to me. it costs like $4 to circumvent evolutionary biology. want to eat dairy but your body doesn’t produce the enzyme necessary to digest lactose? the devs haven’t patched that yet but you can download a mod
