supposed to attend a wedding party in a few hours and yet I'm here, fully awake, staring into the starry eyes of a fictional man and wondering about his inner thoughts and emotions hidden in there

Thinking about how Hange’s whole life was a quest for beauty and humanity in perceived monsters. Their practice of compassion and curiosity when approaching the opposite side stood in stark opposition to Eren’s, and they literally bursted into flames for that cause.

Hange’s fascination with Titans was never just a quirk. It translates into a desire to understand the dark side of humanity that we all hold within us, our (very human) potential for violence and harm, that the Titans were a metaphor for.

Hi guys! I figured since I made a new tumblr account, it might be worth putting a post together with all my old levihan fics - just so everything is nice and easily accessible :) 

Three things to note: the first is that a lot of these were written back in 2015/16 when we had no idea what a post-Titans world would look like, so many things won’t line up with canon now. The second is that I switch between using she/her and they/them pronouns for Hange - each fic on AO3 is tagged appropriately so you can read to your own preference!!
