I feel incredibly sad reading the ASIP script. They had the chance to make the most beautiful love story ever told and they decided to just throw it into trash. They planted such lovely ideas in the first script (John’s eyes flicking to the candle, wondering, then asking Sherlock if he’s attached?? Seriously??) only to dismiss it entirely in S4. This is not fair.
