Also! I sent my manuscript to a few publishers in April. Got word back from two of them, and they wasn't interested in publishing it so here's to hoping at least one of the others I sent it to is more positive.

The waiting though.. :l

I've been so dead lately, but now I'm back with some art. Hopefully. I'm looking to start selling art prints/stickers of my art, which at least I feel is kinda intriguing. And a little scary, since I've never done anything like that before.

Pictured is some of the sticker prints I've made so far, but what I am curious about is what is the best way to price these? Like, I don't want to overprice them either.

Let’s play Writer’s Would You Ever

Send me an ask that says “Would you ever write…” and continue the sentence.

I’ll respond with yes or no and give an explanation as to why if I want to.

OH THIS IS FUN

Oooh. This looks exciting.

“As for “Write what you know,” I was regularly told this as a beginner. I think it’s a very good rule and have always obeyed it. I write about imaginary countries, alien societies on other planets, dragons, wizards, the Napa Valley in 22002. I know these things. I know them better than anybody else possibly could, so it’s my duty to testify about them.”

What’s the point of a first draft if it’s not self indulgent? Why do all that work if you’re not having the most fun with it possible?

Whenever I get stuck on a first draft, I realize it’s because I stopped thinking about what the most fun thing to write would be, I was thinking of the most fun thing to read. That’s a great thing to think about during revision.

First drafts aren’t for readers. They’re for you. Write a book that you love, not that you want other people to love, and no matter how much editing comes later, that joy will come through. Trust your instincts. Have fun.

I am so sorry for being less than active here, but I am so caught up in life and my Stargate RP blog. There is much happening these days and soon Christmas will arrive with even more stuff to do.  Working on comissions and writing in between everything. I apologize and hope for your patience!  Thanks!

Been working on the commissions today (I have not forgotten you - life happened) and it seems like its going okayish. As always I have things i struggle with, such as hair, but that is why I decided to do this in the first place - to improve! So please be patient! I am working on it amidst all that is happening.

Writing Tip June 4th

A list of body language phrases.

I’ve included a very comprehensive list, organized by the type of body movement, hand and arm movements, facial expressions etc. In some cases, a phrase fits more than one heading, so it may appear twice. Possible emotions are given after each BL phrase unless the emotion is indicated within the phrase. (They are underlined for emphasis, not due to a hyperlink.)

Note: I’ve included a few body postures and body conditions as they are non-verbal testimony to the character’s physical condition.

Have fun and generate your own ideas.:-)
