“UGLY?!”
As the Devil tightened his fists his fur turned a blood red and fire surrounded him, roaring into the sky. The anger was VERY palpable.
“Mean, yes, always! But ugly?! How dare you-“
But he stopped before he finished, taking deep breaths and returning to normal, outside of a few remaining fires he patted out.
“My dear…what was it…Bendy! I would never dream of making you a puppet. No, I simply want to come to a mutually profitable arrangement! You said you wanted my trident for your, uh, shows, yes? So, you must be a performer! Weeeeell, I’ve had a performer on my pay roll before-“ ignoring the fact that he fired him, of course. “-and I can tell you how wonderful a little help from the Devil himself can be. Don’t you think THIS would be useful?”
Looking at one of the rocks Bendy threw at him earlier, he fired off a blast of magic from his trident at it. Two little pie cut eyes opened up and the stone sprouted rubber hose arms and legs. Aw, look, it’s doing a little jig! Once he fires at it again it returns to being inanimate.
“Tada! Now, don’t you think it would be in your best interests for us to be fr…free…friend..friends? That-That is the word people use right?”
“Yea you’re kinda ugly.”
Just pouring salt in the open wound, genuinely not even minding much for the flames and stuff. It’s just routine. Y’know how those pesky devils are like. In fact, Bendy had all the intentions to keep on being an absolute pest until the Devil lowered his defenses so he could finally snatch that oversized silverware...
...and then that sly fox started stroking his ego.
An eyebrow lifted, his head tilted on his side, listening with some interest, finally. Returning under the lights of showbiz... all while playing around with some extra magic! That never hurts, especially since, unfortunately, he could just do so much with the ink.
And, to be fair, as much as he loved them his ink blobs weren’t exactly merchandizable.
“...but tell ya what, I think we’re finally talkin’ th’ same language! I wouldn’t mind a lil’ bit o’ extra publicity.” Especially since his show wasn’t exactly popular anymore. “Ya got any references, big guy? Maybe some ol’ pal I can chitchat wit’? I wouldn’t wanna risk to deal wit’ ‘nother good-for-nothin’ boss, yanno?”

[ okay the game itself isn't that good, there's too much filler and i don't vibe with the gameplay nor the gatcha elements
but also there are a LOT of videos on YT that summarize it very well, and especially if youre interested in the series i'd suggest checking them out uhhhhhh around after 3D and before 3!! ]
