Almost all times, Leila thought. But she saw no need in pointing that out - the boys were already in trouble. And it appeared that Fred’s lack of manners wasn’t helping things. Mrs. Weasley narrowed her eyes at her son. “You keep your mouth closed while you’re eating!” she snapped.
Fred’s mouth immediately clamped shut before he swallowed hard. Knowing Fred like she did, it was immensely entertaining to see someone able to get to Fred like that. Fred then eyed George to continue.
“They were starving them, Mum!” George added, careful not to take a bite of food before speaking. Instead, from behind his back, he tossed Leila a muffin which she nearly missed catching. “I mean, just look at them!”
Leila scoffed out loud, ready to retort look at yourself, but before she could protest, Ron chimed in.
“There were bars on their window, Mum!” Ron added before sneaking a rather large bite of food in his mouth.
Mrs Weasley quickly turned on her heel, practically jabbing her finger in Ron’s shoulder. “You’d best hope I don’t put bars on your window, Ronald Weasley!”
Ron gulped his food down, nearly choking on it.
Mrs Weasley then rounded on the twins and narrowed her eyes, looking between Fred and George. “And you’d best hope I don’t accidentally starve you.”
Fred and George glanced sideways at each other before Fred asked his mother, “Which one of us are you starving?”
Mrs Weasley groaned and threw her hands up in the air in frustration. “We never had this much trouble with Bill . . . or Charlie . . . or Percy. Not even combined! Where did we go wrong?”

*I know she's blonde in the books, but I'm going brunette.
I've tentatively settled on Leila's faceclaim and book one's title.

I literally have a few tabs open with her and would love to use her! I just don't know how I should start with her as a character in the first year.
I just have questions - since I'm wading into something new, but don't want to offend or hurt anyone. Like I know that she'd always have known she was a girl, but at 11, I'm guessing she would still be assuming a male identity outwardly? Is there a faceclaim for this? Should there be a faceclaim for this? I'm trying to word this carefully and be respectful, but I'm so very very inexperienced with this.
That's why I'd love someone who knows more to help guide me! Someone who could answer any questions and help me get this right. I want to do this right.
So, I'm going to need some help.
Because of JK Rowling's horrid words, I want to create a character that she would abhor. While transitioning is not Leila's journey to take, I would like to create an OC to take that journey. They would appear in Leila's fic and potentially get their own stand-alone fic.
That being said, I don't know much about this. I've done some research, but I was hoping there would be some people I could talk to who could help me with this character. Someone who would be willing to help be figure out plot points and make sure I'm being respectful and true.
That being said, if someone already has a character created and would like them to become part of Leila's world, that would be fantastic! (Obviously, you'd be credited - and consulted for scenes your character would appear in) It would be more of a background role to start, but I feel as that character begins to change they would become bigger to Leila.
These are just my initial thoughts though. They are open to change.
These waters are completely new to me. I've fully supported trans rights and such for years - but because of my past job, I had to keep my views hidden. So, I'll need guidance and I fully delve into this. I'm just looking for someone to help me grow!

Should I make the series called Lost Along the Way?
If so, I'd LOVE title suggestions for each year.
For example, I had Year 6 titled "We'll be a Dream" in the original. Year 7 was "Lost Along the Way" Year 4 was "On My Own" Year 5 was "Invisible" Those don't have to stay - although, I feel Year 6 was pretty fitting. lol.
Once I get those suggestions, I'll make some more polls. (If I get enough suggestions) Right now, I'm specifically looking for suggestions for Year 1.
For example, I think Year 6 would be: Lost Along the Way: We'll Be Dream
. . . or is 'Lost Along the Way: The Beginning" good for year 1? lol,
