A visit from one of the Neighbours
Corydora celebration
False Julii, Panda, Violet tailed, Peppered and little C. pygmaeus
Lavender coloured rhododendron, always the last to bloom.
Of all the rhododendrons in the Woods, this is the only one that changes colour as it ages.
Always the first to bloom each Spring, it heralds the arrival of Rhododendron time and ushers colour into the Woods.
Colour changing Rhodie, blooms deep red/pink and turns white.
Honeysuckle scented Azalea
I don't know what type of Azalea this is, and have never found another one like it. I did find a pink scented Azalea, but it does not smell like honeysuckle. The "honeysuckle" Azalea above is very old, and I would love to find another.
Girlsā night out at South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Photographed by Antonio SĆ”nchez Chamorro.
"Did'ja see me?! Did'ja see that speed? That awesome turn?!"
The Bean, after getting no response to his amazing show of speed and agility, decides to ensure that he is noticed.... No photo available of the outcome of this maneuver.
(No Mr the Mung Beans were injured in this lesson on how to treat an older lady.)
Silken Windhound, Plott hound mix (the aforementioned Lady)
Just shrimp, doing their shrimpy things.
A congregation of corydoras.
False Julii, Panda, and Peppered.
I was trying to take a picture of the Violet and False Julii corydoras when.....
And here is the photobomber. Unrepentant.
Last nights visitors to the dog yard.
The chickens had all retired for the night so were safely tucked into the Beak Bunk. Disappointed little owls.
