I moved in to new TortHaus with @percytortoise on Saturday! Mum wanted to make sure I was OK, so we tried it for a day, and now I'm here for good!
I love it in here! There's so much room and, more importantly, noms! I've put on over 110g in the 6 days I've been here!
Nom nom nom!
My appetite is slowly returning! I still don’t eat much, but I’m getting there!
Apologies for the lack of updates everyone.
Mum moved house in May last year, and I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa until she’d settled in. In August Grandma and Grandpa went on holiday, and I came to live with Mum because @percytortoise was bullying me.
Since before I moved, I’ve been super ill. Mum didn’t know until I moved. I’ve fully recovered now, but in October I was diagnosed with very serious septicaemia (blood poisoning). I hadn’t properly eaten or been to the toilet since I moved in with Mum, and had to have x-rays to make sure there weren’t any blockages. I had blood tests and that’s how we found out. I also had a very, very bad reaction to the oral antibiotics I was given, and almost didn’t pull through. I was vomiting regularly, and refusing any and all food. I had a feeding tube put in so I could have food and water, and take my medicine, and the vomiting almost stopped, but I was switched to intravenous antibiotics in January, and recovered in a few weeks. I then tested positive for worms, and had to be treated for that too. I pulled my feeding tube out towards the end of January, but I still wasn’t eating much, but I was given the all clear in February. I had to have another put in March because I’d lost nearly 200g since being poorly, and I still wasn’t eating much, but I picked right up again and pulled it out a couple of weeks ago. I’m eating a lot more now than before, but it’s still not as much as @percytortoise. I never was a big eater though.
Mum and her boyfriend spent months building a new house for us in the shed, and @percytortoise moved in in January. I couldn’t go in because I was so ill, but I’ve been visiting recently and getting ready to move in permanently.

It’s been lovely and sunny so I’ve been playing behind plantpots with spiders. Although I made a mess of their webs :(
I’m not sorry Mum. I like to explore!
We’re up and out of cryosleep! We’re a little bit early as it was starting to get too warm. I’m looking forward to properly warm footses and tasty noms with percytortoise!

Yay! Mum and Grandad have finished our shed (it’s been Christened “Torthaus”)! It has plenty of room, warmth and hopefully, soon, some fresh growing tasty weeds and flowers!
I wish percytortoise didn’t steal all the room under the basking lamp though!
Phew! I've been a busy tortoise the last few months! Percy and I lost our outdoor run when the Grandparents had the back garden gutted and a patio put in.
While the weather has been lovely and sunny we've been making the most of it on the patio!
Mum and Grandad have been building our new house and it's mostly ready!
Hopefully now we’ll both be updating more :-)
