Shiro didn’t break Keith’s walls, he climbed them and broke into Keith’s heart and then locked himself in there to keep himself safe. 

My theory on Keith’s expulsion from the Garrison is after Shiro “died” on the Kerberos Mission, Keith was suspicious so he went to Iverson like

and Iverson expelled him.

How about a companion video called “Space Baby” that shows clips of all the times Shiro made heart-eyes at Keith, and all the times Keith made heart-eyes at Shiro and all the times they made heart-eyes at each other and hugged each other, and every time they said “I love you,” to each other whithout actually saying the words.

Shiro knows

He knows when Keith starts to feel down.  He knows all the signs: the closing off, the snappiness, the drag in his step.  Sometimes Shiro recognizes this before Keith does.

Shiro also knows just how to cheer Keith up.  He knows when to surprise him with a special meal, or an impromptu date night.  He knows just where to take Keith, or what to cook or order, or what movie to put on.  He knows Keith will have a smile on his face in no time.

He knows when to add more passion to his kisses.  He knows when to take their cuddling a step further.  He knows where to touch and how much to kiss and what to say.  He knows when to be rough and when to be gentle.  He knows afterward Keith will have melted in his arms and will be a giggling mess as they go to bed.

But Shiro also knows when Keith doesn’t need to be cheered up.  He knows when to just let Keith be sad; he knows when to let him yell and hit and cry.  He knows to just hold Keith close and be quiet as Keith lets out all of the feelings that were trapped inside for too long.

And Keith knows he can always count on Shiro to give him what he needs.
