At the beginning it seemed like a nice idea, we save up money all year to spend a few weeks on the East coast because my wife still misses it and staying in a little house just feels so much nicer than living out of a hotel room. But man, it did the thing so fast. The capitalism thing, the web 2.0 thing, that thing where nothing can just be a nice little service and has to immediately develop to its most evil and painful final form.
