Would you be willing to try smutty prompts? Say, one sentence or one line of dialogue prompts with certain ships that could be a no pressure little response you just post here? Sometimes those help!
Short prompts for smut snippets have definitely helped in the past, so I’m open to it! But also I’m in the mood for (slightly) longer fics the way I used to write them, and I feel like I’ve done nothing but smut snippets these days.
I checked and my last non-snippet fic was the one I wrote for the series finale back in August! Even then, it was still on the shorter end. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, I’m just being frustratingly indecisive about what to write!

Hi y'all, I'll be out of town for the week (right now, actually!) and I'm not taking my laptop with me, which is a last minute decision for multiple reasons, but I'm going to just post the rest of the "cherry lips and candy hearts" series when I get back! I completed 8 prompts in total, so we've got 6 more to go!
Another update for y'all: while it was my intention to share all 8 prompt fills, I'll be honest: I only really liked half of those prompts and I'd tried to tweak them or rewrite them entirely so I can still share them with y'all, but I just... don't like them. And why force myself to rewrite them and "finish" my own challenge when I'm excited about the next ideas on the list?
So I'm just going to share the next two prompts (they're actually already posted!) and we'll see how I feel in a few days! Maybe I'll change my mind, or maybe I'll find time to actually revisit and rewrite my fills before the end of the month. Or maybe I'll just move on entirely! I'm not going to stress too much about it because this mini challenge, though not at all successful in terms of completion, definitely gave me ideas of what smut I want to write next!
Also, thanks to y'all who participated in my smut survey - I've definitely gotten some fun ideas from there!

ALSO! I just responded to another comment about gifs not loading in my AO3 fics anymore, which hasn't been every fic but I feel like has been happening more often. Whenever I'm viewing them on my own browser, though, everything always loads just fine, so I'm not quite sure how to go about fixing things?

Might be a bit obvious, but the Hot Dog portion of the Serpent initiation being a little more intense than simply dogsitting for Cheryl and/or Betty could work too

I would be open to it! I haven’t read too much of that kink myself, but after writing paranormal smut, I’d give it a try for a prompt or idea I liked enough.
I skipped over day one of my own femslash february challenge, figuring I had all month to come back to it, and now we're six days away from it starting... and I might have to bend my own rules.
Just shows you that even a prompt from my own kinks can't spark smut if I'm just not in the mood.
