Have you ever noticed that when a man beats up a rapist for raping his daughter, the community tends to praise him for a job well done.
When a girl or woman uses violence against a man making a sexual transgression, she's considered a psycho?
This right here. I have thought about this so many times, and have discussed it with people I thought I could trust. This is literally the truth, it's as if we have no ownership of our bodies as a right to self defense as a human being, only as a sense of property.
Women are conditioned and expected to not defend themselves violently, and when a woman does so, it is considered "out of the norm" and "crazy", but truth is, women have more than enough justification to self defense through violence because rape and rape attempts can also permanently maim and cause complications that can lead to death, and should be treated as a murder attempt more than just a crime of "sexual nature." All sexual assault is sadistic, all sexual assault is intentional, it was always intended to inflict harm upon the victim with no regards to her physical safety and emotional state of mind.
The criminal justice system treats our instinctual sense of self preservation as if it bears no significance to the severe physical and psychological harm that rapists inflict; our very survival depends on our ability to protect ourselves and we are treated as though we are crazy for the basic human right of self defense.
Our trauma makes us "crazy and dangerous", wanting to protect ourselves and each other makes us "crazy and dangerous", wanting to not be raped makes us "crazy", wanting to feel basic safety makes us "crazy", feeling suicidal after sexual assault makes us "crazy". But it is never the sex offender himself on the bus groping and harassing women/girls that is considered "crazy and dangerous", he mostly always just gets away with it. It is not the sexually predatory coworker who continues to harass his young and vulnerable female coworkers that is treated as "crazy and dangerous" It is not the neighborhood creeps who drive up and down the street sweeping street corner to street corner looking for girls to solicit that is treated as "crazy and dangerous". We are simply told to ignore him (that it is just a part of life), that it is not that big of a deal, to deal with it, or just try to get away from him and avoid him (as he occupies whatever area he wants). We have to adjust our schedules and spaces to accommodate a living danger that belongs nowhere near us.
We are silenced to tiptoe around the problem which is the rapist himself and the culture and legal system that enables him, as he continues to pursue, solicit, rape, grope, and harass vulnerable girl after girl after girl after girl, until he meets the one "crazy" woman with "PTSD" (who is instinctively prepared through repeated trauma of abuse and assault) that slits his throat and leaves his guts hanging out of his body.
And then everyone wonders what went wrong? What went wrong is the criminal justice system is disgracefully weak and fails to protect women/girls from violent and predatory men who belong in prison, and nowhere else but prison. These are the men who should never be around women/girls ever again, and yet we are expected to live next to them, work with them, and just "deal" with it and ignore them, as if they present no threat to our safety and survival, as is if their crimes can just be forgotten and if they served a sentence, that the psychologically impulsive and biological drive to rape women/girls is somehow now just "gone", and most of them have not even been sterilized for safety precaution.
I know one thing for sure that makes a rapist stop sexually assaulting, and that is through the defense of a woman with a knife who has had enough of it.

us living in a time where mental illness is sky rocketing is no coincidence especially considering the state of the world. but what isn't okay is thinking that those of us suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD or literally any mental health disorder because of being directly or indirectly affected by this system and needing psychiatrists, therapy, medications to get us through everyday... makes us sick somehow? are we sick or are we simply reacting to a sick world?
