“I think that there is a lot of people who have quite an intense relationship with your music, so then when they meet you in that moment they want to have quite an intense interaction with you, and when you’re actually a normal human being, you’re not really prepared for that a lot of the time. So I feel a responsibility artistically, not to inform or educate, but to be honest and be truthful and talk about the things that matter.”
