in my school if you got sick, you’d be sent to the clinic while your parents would be called to first get your school things from your classroom before being able to pick you up.
my friend got sick in the middle of a school day once and like I said from the first sentence, her mother arrived to the classroom to gather her things but with my friend’s little brother.

and he waddled inside looking for her and was like: “ate? ate??? mama asan si ate? [mama, where is sister :(] in the cutest voice while going to sit on her stroller bag.
so imagine that but with maple and kazuha
Kazuha being miserable throughout day when he got sick in the middle of it, always with his head down on his desk, threw up his lunch and ended up borrowing Tomo’s jacket because it was freezing for him despite him reassuring Tomo it was fine, of course he would take that for an answer.
By the time Mama Kaedehara came to gather his things, little maple was brought along, little child in a jumper suit and a pacifier hanging a string attached to their neck and a cactus toy (loved that person’s idea of maple having a cactus toy) waddling in first looking for their big brother.
“nii-san?” aand proceeds to ask the cactus toy if it knows where to find kazuha only for it to repeat what they said.
“no, I’m asking you where he is!😠” cute little pout, with Tomo waving earning sparkly eyes from them by seeing their brother’s best friend
along with Venti, Xiao, Aether and Heizou and even Scaramouche who typically hates kids but is greeting maple 🍁.
and I’ll let you imagine Maple finding out Kazuha is sick and going to the clinic to actually pick him up
