A canon divergent, selective RP blog for Serena following a collaborative fanplot for pokemon Z, set in post-game by default. Established June 1st, 2020, written by Kou (pronounced with a short ‘o’ sound). Mun is 21+ and is in alternating timezones (PST from March to November, and MST from November to March).

I try to keep consistent activity going throughout the week, but I will be working full-time and will only have time to get on before and after work on weekdays (along with mobile lurking from time to time). Free time will be limited, but those who I’ve talked with OOC before are more than welcome to ask for my discord for chatting/plotting purposes.

anyways sry yall for not being around much lately and being slow af to reply to messages.... this has been the ultimate week from hell, i am just straight up not having a good time and im so fucking sick of it all :’)

Guess who’s been up for 42 hours-

kyogre!!! she's over on my multimuse blog,, i started rping her in a closed pokemon group, one that allowed both canon characters and gijinkas of pokemon (like legendaries). i saw kyogre was available so i sent in my app and got accepted in, and then later went indie about 2 years later in 2014?? and that's how i got into the indie scene, after i learned you dont have to be part of a group or anything like that! it ironically took away some of the anxiety since i was a lot more free to do what i wanted, didn't have to remember a bunch of group tags, etc.... been that way for almost 9 years (in a few months from now in april!!!) and it's been such a ride :'>

not sorry but some stuff ive seen in fanon are some of the worst takes ive ever seen in my entire whole 26 years of life. like when people take a very interesting and nuanced character and reduce them to nothing but a 'simp' and strip them of anything that makes them unique or interesting looks at how people portray anime!serena. or if they just make the characters WEIRD. like.... god. i dont even want to get into the weird braindead takes/characterization ive seen of nemona since scvi's release. holy SHIT i have to wonder if some people are genuinely okay out there or wtf is going on.

GOD ive had so many old legendary gijinkas and ocs it's kind of insane to think about? it's hard to pick one considering how flaky i am

i do miss my old shauntal, probably one of the longest running canon muses i had... the memories associated w her were really fun too, the unova elite four sims house we had going in our skype group was HYSTERICAL. i think they made grimsley a literal vampire and that went about as well as you'd expect it to.

i also miss my interp of palkia, she was so cute and fun and she had the cutest fucking ship in the world w my friend's yveltal 😭 i basically got to finish out a separate creation trio to the one my giratina was in which was nice... got some separation in there and got to experience a whole different creation trio characterization. i miss her so much, my space queen uuuooo 😭

anyways look at giratina’s promo from almost 9 years ago. why were ALL promos like this. who decided this was a good idea to do. i just followed the trends but like, girl u may have put ur address and phone number here too, maybe a reference or two-

i love love LOVE dash comm. i think it's fun seeing people talk about a certain topic and it feels like it brings the rpc together... unless it's a chaotic topic like pizza discourse or soup discourse that has a lot of hot takes and opinions, but even THEN it's still fun to see people going at each other/agreeing, idk!! there's just a fun feeling of unity for us as writers even if our muses disagree on the topic at hand or whatnot. a lot of fun interactions have come from dash comm and i love it :'>

i have a senior citizen discount card bc i remember being in the rpc at the PEAK of magic anons when they were extremely popular. to the point where some people would specifically state 'NO M!AS' in their rules (either out of personal preference or bad experiences with them in the past).

i had a fun one on my old shauntal blog before where the m!a took her gloves away, and my hc was that she used them to cover burn scars on her hands/arms. and it was kind of fun in a way bc she basically locked herself in her elite room while the other 3 members were so lost and confused as to wtf was going on. i dont THINK ive had any bad experiences with them personally, but i have seen m!as used for the purpose of being weird/gross towards some muses which isnt cool :/

god do yall remember back when promos were almost like a mini resume. like '10+ years rp experience, english speaking, skype available on request, 5 years experience in the pokemon rpc' like. we REALLY were outlining all of our credentials for no reason LMAO. like hold on lemme just put down a reference on my promo too for u guys to contact they'll put in a good word for me i promise. im kinda glad promos have gotten a lot more simple nowadays - i feel like if people did the single icon style promo w some text 5+ years ago it would not go over well.... no one would rb that, it would just be 'lazy' back then but look at us now!!!

if it wasn’t for the fact i had bills to pay and am working on helping my bf get us a place so we can finally live together after almost 8 fucking years of being  together i would have quit this damn job last year 🥴
