with 2018 coming to an end and the new year about to start, i just want to say that all negativity is going to be left in 2018. all fights that happened, all the petty shit talking, all the hurting that went down — all of it is in the past. i apologize for all the parts i had in this and hope we can all move forward with positivity!! i’m starting 2019 with a clean slate with everyone. too many of us have been so wrapped up in grudges and dislike for one another that it’s ruined this experience for a lot of people. but from now on, on my end, i’m not longer letting any of that negativity in and things have been forgotten. fighting over the internet is useless and exhausting. as the years go on and we all get older, its important we all focus on what’s actually important. so all of that tension, negativity, grudge-holding and bullshit? gone. it’s time for positive vibes and be nice 2kforever. THE FRENCH QUARTER ; A PLACE WHERE HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF.
On December 15th, 2018, Amara Quartermaine and Elizabeth Webber were set to marry. Over a year of planning and finally, one of the biggest weddings New Orleans had ever seen had arrived. But tragedy soon struck when Elizabeth Webber was found dead in the bathroom in her wedding dress on the day of the wedding. She was drenched in a pool of red and quickly the police came rushing in. At 1:34pm that day, Elizabeth was pronounced dead before the two families could finally combine. Now, given their vile history and family disputes, all fingers quickly pointed to the Corinthos. But the head of the family seems to have an alibi in play, but who knows if the Spencer’s are speaking the truth as they stand by their friends. Which leads everyone to wonder who really was behind the murder of one of New Orleans’ finest? Was it a member of one of the feuding families or perhaps even the upcoming anniversary of the infamous Ryan Chamberlain murders, a string of vile killings that happened exactly twenty-five years ago, has sparked a dark fuel in the heart of someone truly evil?
Welcome to the dark side of New Orleans, where the living is easily lost and the dead stick around to play.
THE FRENCH QUARTER is an original character, city roleplay with a twist. This group follows the lives of the citizen’s within New Orleans and how they go about their day to day activities while also dealing with the mysterious death that has taken place. While it may seem as though the families involved may hold an important role, it is also the other members of the population who will help drive the plot. Using large plot drops, developed connections, plots and much more, your character will be able to flourish in a small town roleplay setting, while also getting to be involved, in character (and out of character) with a group-wide plot. This group will suggest assistance from its members and will involve them in any way possible and as much as you may wish. Please be aware that this group has triggering details and we ask that you join at your own discretion.

Common mistakes people make when it comes to plotting:
- relying on their RP partners to approach them first
- responding to plotting messages with one word answers
- ignoring a question in a plotting message
- not asking any questions of their own
- not offering any ideas of their own
You can’t expect your RP partner to do all the work for you in trying to get something started, it takes two to make this hobby work. You have to meet people halfway.
