Malleus walked back and forth in the kitchen of the Diasomnia dorm, his hands clasped behind his back and his eyes lowered to the shiny marble floor. A vexed yet excited expression inhabited his face, and the conflicting feelings of joy and anxiety waged war against one another in the depths of his stomach.
Lilia watched Malleus pace back and forth in front of him, occasionally plucking a popcorn piece from the large bowl to throw it into his mouth. "Yes yes! The popcorn is done—" Lilia chirped as he munched on the treat, yet his smile soon faded and was replaced by a grimace. "Silver finished making it before I could even enter the kitchen... he's always so mean."
Malleus briefly raised his gaze to shoot Silver a thankful look. "I'm eternally grateful, Silver," he said to his fellow dorm member that sat at the kitchen table right next to Sebek, whom he was currently using as a pillow. Malleus bit his lip, growing restless and nervous once again. "Also, do you remember what truths and dares I told you to learn in case (Y/n) wants to play her curious human game with us?"
Sebek nodded and straightened his back. "Of course, young master!" he exclaimed whilst saluting. "'I dare you to hug the young master,' is the very first one — out of sixty-nine others... but I learnt them all by heart!"

Malleus ogled you with wide eyes, his fingers having immediately shot up touch his tingling lips. You avoided his gaze while sheepishly nudging your own feet, trying your best not to embarrass yourself even further; accidentally kissing him could barely be topped by anything else.
How you had managed to accidentally kiss him? Well, you had just asked him to bend down since there were some leaves stuck on his horns, which you had intended to get rid of. Of course, he had complied easily, trusting his one and only friend wholeheartedly. Sadly, you had leant forward with too much force, causing your lips to unintentionally collide with his. Of course, you had immediately pulled away again, but the kiss had already happened.
"Oh, Malleus... I'm so sorry—" you whispered, your voice trembling under his intense gaze. "I didn't mean to—"
"Can do you it again?" he requested in a rather serious tone, which made you let out a few splutters of surprise. Your gaze immediately snapped upward to meet his, and your jaw fell down at his unexpected request.
"You—" you croaked out, disbelief filling your eyes, "want me to kiss you again?"
Malleus nodded, unbothered by the way your cheeks were red and warm. You having been reduced to a stuttering mess amused him quite a lot, but he always stayed calm and didn't let his excitement show too much. "Yes," he confirmed, which almost made you faint. Tilting his head to the side adorably, Malleus shot you a curious look. "This is what friends do after all, isn't it?"
You opened your mouth but no sound came out since you actually weren't sure yourself how ro explain this little mishaps to Malleus. For being so tall and intimidating, his innocence rivalled that of a child's. Scratching your cheek, you began, "Malleus—"
Malleus raised his voice upon noticing the doubt in your eyes. You immediately quieted down again, allowing him to ask, "Does that mean you do not view me as a friend?" He bit his lip, and you could see a sheen of sadness gloss over his eyes, unshed tears growing visible to you.

- “I’m fine y/n” he muttered, as if he had sensed you coming closer to him. You sighed, sitting on the corner of his bed, brushing the mess of white hair out of his face. “No you’re not, and that’s okay” you whispered in his ear.
- “You’re such a smart mouth aren’t you?” he muttered, closing his eyes, relishing the feeling of your fingertips brushing against his forehead.
- You simply hummed, as you watched him slowly grab your hand and absentmindedly play with your fingers.
- “You seem cold, should I grab a comfier blanket?” You ask him, one hand caressing his hair, your other hand still in his grasp.
- He uses no words, but simply shakes his head, as he grabs both your hands and pulls you into his arms, quickly wrapping them around you as if you were his teddy bear, tangling your legs with his much longer ones.
- You didn’t question it, instead you continued to scratch the back of his head.
- “You haven’t ate have you? Do you want some mochi, some sandwiches?” You ask but he shakes his head to everything.
- “Maybe something more filling? Some curry?” You continue.
- “Y/nnn shut uppp” he groaned, shoving his head into your chest, secretly trying to cover his blushed face, even though he was always cocky about the attention he received from you, today he felt flustered from it.
- You softly laughed before giving him an apology, and you coaxed him into resting again, soon his eyelids started to feel heavy.
- He looked so peaceful like that, his white eyelashes resting so nicely above his cheekbones, his messy white hair tickling your chin as he nuzzled into your chest.
- Feeling a bit brave, you leaned in and placed a kiss on the corner of his lips.
