They start to really bond, something special’s forming between them. They talk about everything really. About their day, about their childhood, about subjects they like, about anything. And sometimes, Tony even sends Peter some thirsty texts while Peter’s touching himself, thinking it could be Tony instead of his hand. He never lasts long tho. Picturing Professor Stark touching him while the man actually sends him dirty texts is such a turn on.

He can’t do this anymore.

“So, Stark, tell me,” Happy starts with a smug grin after he places the stack of files on Tony’s desk. Tony scrunches his nose at the sight and decides to deal with those later. He looks up at the man and raises his eyebrows. “Tell you what?” “How does a billionaire like you spend your money on Valentine’s Day?”

Tony feels as if the Earth shatters beneath his feet. He looks up at Happy in pure and utter shock. Valentine’s Day. Oh boy. He had completely missed that, hadn’t he. Happy’s eyes widen.  “You-” “Don’t-” Tony grits his teeth as he raises his hand to stop the other. “Don’t say it. It’s bad enough as it is. Go. I need to fix this.” “But Tony, the files-” “I’ll deal with those later. Now, go!”

Happy hurries out of his office and Tony groans, leaning back against the backrest of his chair. He looks at the ceiling and shakes his head. How could he have forgotten about his boyfriend’s absolute favorite holiday?  Tony sits upright again and grabs his phone. It’s time to make this right. He may be a shitty boyfriend, but the least he can do for Peter is admit that harsh truth and beg for forgiveness; with a romantic, belated Valentine’s dinner of course.

“Pepper,” he speaks into the device. “I need your help.”
