Here’s some EVA foam armor I made for myself as an example for the class I’m teaching at the local makerspace to make “Dragonslaying Armor”..

It’s the first time I’ve worked with EVA foam and I did it on a time limit to have it ready as a prototype example for the class. So overall, I’m super happy with it! Not based on anything other than what I’d like to have for the Renaissance Fair and other fun costume-y gatherings.

Modeled by the skeleton in my bedroom-

I used DoorDash and at the time of ordering the only options were Small, Large, and Bucket Beverage with no extra description or anything to hint that it was not a normally accepted Beverage Size or In a Bag.

Secondly, it only cost me $1 more than a normal Large? Which I mean, is 50 cents more than upgrading from a Medium to a Large at McD’s but not unreasonable.

Also I live in Ohio, so of course a Bagged Soda would be an option in the Hell State

Hi tumblr, been a while, but I need to share this.

Had an awesome time for my birthday today!

All I really wanted for my birthday was to be a skeleton at the Beetlejuice musical and I got just that! Been working on the mask/helmet for over a month and got to show it off waiting in line at the theater to get to our seats and took pictures with anyone who asked! So much fun!

And credit where credit is due- the awesome skull helmet itself was made by Samhein of MaskLabShop (an artist from Ukraine) on Etsy!

The custom LEDs, acrylic, soldering, and flamey mohawk were my own additions

It's everyone's favorite amnesiac pokemon choo-choo man! I decided to do a take on Ingo based on the traditional japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints, considering this subway operating Pokemon New Yorker got eeby deebied to Edo Japan.

So I know everyone is all obsessed with the new preview for Scarlet/Violet but can I talk about how the legendaries give me STRONG motorcycle vibes?

Both Koraidon and Miraidon give me old school motorcycle and future TRON bike aesthetics because I’m an illustrator and I can recognize visual themes and influence when I see them. Makes me wonder if these guys will have something to do with a mode of transport?

Took forever but finally finished this!

Been working on a sticker/poster design since October, but working a full-time retail job takes a ton of time out of my day so I’ve been having to work on it just a little bit at a time. Very happy with how it’s turned out though!
