I can’t remember if I ever did one of these posts… but I was thinking about having a tag list for my writing blog?

I definitely do miss writing and posting 🥹 to get back in the grove, I’ll be trying to post at least two times a week. I’ve been inactive for too long :((

Your leg was bouncing under the table as you felt the butterflies in your stomach start to flutter up your chest and to your throat. The relationship was still relatively “new” (i.e. you started dating recently but spent the last 7 years as best friends who also happen to be absolute morons and oblivious to each other's pining) so the anticipation of how this date was going to go lingered in your mind.

The soft touch on your arm brought you out of your thoughts as you looked in the direction of said touch.

“Hey, I’ve been calling out to you for a while,” Jongho smiled softly, sliding your boba order to you. “What are you thinking about?” he asked, sitting in the chair across from you, tilting his head cutely.

“I’m sorry,” You said sheepishly, “Thank you for the boba.”

He hummed quietly, studying your face. Jongho leaned forward and you jumped when you felt his hand on your knee, smoothing a thumb over it.

“I’m-” You start, your throat suddenly dry, unsure if you should continue with this tiny confession.

He waited patiently for you to gather your thoughts and squeezed your knee in support.

“I’m nervous,” Your face heats up, the tips of your ears turning red. “You make me nervous.”

He couldn’t resist poking fun at you. “Don’t let Wooyoung hear you, he’ll tease you for the rest of your lives.”

You groan and throw yourself to the back of the chair, your body sagging and shoulders deflating. “Can we please not talk about my brother right now, it’s bad enough that I’m related to him.”

“Okay, okay,” Jongho yields, pulling his chair around the table so that he sits next to you and not across from you. Once he’s close enough, he leans in. “So I make you nervous, huh?” His mouth pulls up into a smile, eyebrows jumping. He catches your swinging hand, entwining your fingers and bringing it to rest on his lap.

“Confessing to you was a mistake,” You scoff, your shoe bumping into his when you lightly kick him in retaliation. “If I never said anything on that fateful day, it wouldn’t have led to this date and I wouldn’t end up bullied like this.”

The incredulous laugh that leaves his mouth a little too loudly causes some people to look in your direction. “You’re the main antagonist here,” Jongho exclaims, his eyes wide and mouth open in shock at the brazen audacity. “You and Wooyoung are both little shits that get away with everything.”

You laugh gleefully, squeezing his hand lovingly. “And you let me.”

“Oh, absolutely.” He says, the hearts in his eyes sparkling.

hello, it's been a mf hot minute since i posted anything. i really want to get back in the swing of things. i missed you guys and interacting with my followers. i'm hoping that i will have more energy and motivation to write. thanks for sticking by me :)

“The coffee one, please,” You say, pointing to the ice cream tub from behind the glass. The worker scoops your ice cream into a big waffle cone and sticks two spoons on either side. “Thank you!”

Yunho smiles at the worker as he pays, taking the cone and handing it to you. You eagerly dig in with happiness shining in your eyes as soon as the spoonful of sugary sweetness reaches your tongue. He can’t help but melt at your cuteness and look at you lovingly.

You hold the cone between your bodies and welcome the warm breeze that comes and goes from your place at the table outside the ice cream shop.

“I swear ice cream can cure anything,” You sigh, taking a bite out of the waffle cone. “Thank you, baby.”

Yunho grins, leaning in to kiss the corner of your mouth where a smudge of ice cream had marked your skin. He then laughs when you whine and pout at him for not kissing you properly. “You’re welcome, angel, I’m sorry you had a horrible day. I can at least try to make it better.”

Your eyes soften and your heart swells at his words as he feeds you ice cream from his spoon.

“You being with me always makes it better,” You smile, placing a hand on his cheek and pull him closer to steal a kiss. “I love you.”

His cheeks flush as he gives you a smile, suddenly getting shy.  “I love you too.”

“So cute,” You coo, pinching his cheeks. He sticks his tongue out at you, swatting your hands away and leaning back to escape your teasing. You leave the rest of the ice cream for him and hand him the cone which he takes to finish the rest.

After he stands up to throw away your trash, he pulls you up by your hand and begins walking in the direction of your shared home. 

Your hands intertwine and sway lightly in between your bodies. Your other hand comes up to rest on his bicep as your head leans against his shoulder. The comfortable silence blankets over you as you enjoy each other’s company.

“Thank you for treating me,” You look up at him, bouncing up to your tip-toes to press a quick kiss to his jaw. Yunho hums as he leans down to kiss your forehead.

“Any time.”

“Hello! I’m sorry, we’re-” You called out from the back when you heard the bell announcing a customer coming in. “-closed.” You finished with a whisper when you stopped at the front counter.

Your boyfriend stood in front of you with an easy-going grin on his bare face, hands stuffed into his oversized bomber jacket.

“You’re supposed to be on tour right now,” You murmur into the air, “and you have a concert tomorrow.”

“I know and I’m taking the first flight out but I really needed to do something.” Hongjoong said softly, coming closer to the counter. 

“What could be so important that you had to fl-” You were interrupted when he took your face in his hands and pulled you to his lips.

I have ONE (1) dream. ONE dream about @cactiijoonie being tall and it all gets into her head 😭🤚🏼
