it really sucks because soul eater has such an interesting art style/ aesthetic and the gothic world building with its shape shifting human/ weapon concept is sooo captivating...

and then the fanservice is so fucking obnoxious that it makes you think maybe I should watch Naruto, because while the female characters are empty nothings, at least we don't ever see that 12 year old girl's underwear once.

soul eater even has interesting female characters, it's just a shame they're constantly getting groped.
