Thus, for some reason, listening to the song while working on a fic for another Choices OTP couple of mine, this angsty idea somehow came about.

The sun shouldn't be shining so brightly. Birds shouldn't be chirping their sweet songs. The cool breeze shouldn't be gentle and soothing. This wasn't at all how the world should look today.

I honestly didn’t know what route you were going to take with this fic! I wasn’t even thinking of Liam abdicating tbh 👀 been gone too long but everything just fit so beautifully. Of course it would be Olivia to become next. And what more could Liam want for his beloved stupid Cordonia to go to someone who is devoted to the country as much as him?! 😭

I never played those chapters where Madeleine and Liam were engaged cause I couldn’t take it. But I forgot Madeleine made her pick up the rings for the wedding 👀😮‍💨 NGL I thought that was such a cool move 😂🫣

AAAAAND I love love LOVED how we get to see this side of Tariq. OF COURSE he would have a more difficult time to this than her. There were two people wronged here and we often look at him as the enemy but he was as much a victim as Riley was. I’m glad she saw that but even more so loved that she didn’t blame him for not going back.

As always, Rachel and Stephen were a delight. I love the small snips of happiness you throw in there of them. Shows just how much they adore each other.

And then Thomas and his parents. His Mom would be meddling in his personal life LoL and to have a father be the total opposite. This is the kind of balance we need 😂

And then Amanda. Sigh. She was so brave to do this something that isn’t like her—which I LOVE! I hate when she doubts herself. It’s like no girl. Get your mans!

Chapter 14 P-A-R-T-Y!

Sunlight began to creep through the blinds as morning came about. One particular beam drifted until it was directly over Thomas's eyes. His lips twisted into a slight frown as he fought off waking at such an unholy hour.

Keeping his eyes shut, he rolled onto his stomach and turned his head away from the offensive reminder that the day was beginning. His mind drifted along with the thoughts do the lady beside him. He reached out blindly to draw her close.

His eyes opened to see the empty space beside him. Brow furrowing, he propped himself up on his elbows and looked about.

I didn’t want this to end! From these two lovebirds anxious to get married to past memories of their time together [the iconic blue dress, the pool scene] to seeing all of them together and then the bachelor-bachelorette parties 😂

Seriously that scene with Ryan downing everyone else’s drinks after the exes show up KILT me. It was such a short sentence but portrayed him perfectly

Man. We can’t let Kiara in peace huh? 👀😂 I see the subtle way Mattie deflected her 🙊😂

And then Thomas. Sweet sweet Thomas checking to make sure his girl is okay by looking at her wrists 🥺 but Amanda handled her own 😭

Agh. Suck it exes! And anyone else who doubted this. I’m so torn with it being almost over!

And he's living happier ever after with his family 😭 Liam deserves all the love in this world. Period.

Okay seriously 👀😂 I love when reality happens for this couple. The Perfect Costume

Life changed five weeks earlier for all who resided in St Orella. After years of waiting and wondering if their duke and duchess would ever create an heir, Kathleen was born.

The people would stop the various servants whenever they caught them out in the peaceful little town to ask about the new lady of the manor. Each query was answered with a smile followed by stories of late night feedings, naps, and simply adoring the newest member of the Hunt family.
