I was playing through Dark Souls 3 awhile ago and sketched up a version of my character. I loved Sirris and her armor set. The souls games are big inspirations for me in many ways from world building to artistry. Hope to see more soon!

Some paintings were let out for BATTLETECH recently. We had some recent press releases and I was able to post some art finally! Many many more to come later!

Sketch from yesterday. The topic was Inexplicable Animals. The wolf's Mona monkey is such a fascinating blue colored monkey.

Missed posting these here! Awhile back I was able to paint some art for BATTLETECH coasters merchandise. For each one i tried emulating a famous artist. 1. Gemini Stables: This was very Nouveau, Mucha inspired. I’ve always wanted to chase that aesthetic a little more closely! 2. Silver Dragon Stables: This one was going more towards Frank Frazetta in colors and stark shadowing. It was really fun to try and emulate. 3. Valrayvn Koschei: This was less a specific artist and more pursuing Graffiti and dripped wall art. Something really tough for me.  4. Legend Killer: This was full pin up, Gil Elvgren is a great pinup artist I love, so I tried doing some of his softer strokes and blends. 

Fall topic for our sketch friday at work! I love working in these colors! I also included the much more appropriate sketch part of it. Since i sort of went over my allotted time a little bit. 

Tropical Seclusion A cleaned up version of a sketch from quite awhile ago. I’ve always loved bright color and floral aesthetic. Going to be selling this one at RCCC as well!

Echo Topic was a fun exploration today. Something pretty different but It was nice to get out of my comfort zone!

Serpent Tamer A cleaned up sketch from a bit ago. I had a lot of different ideas for how the snake would turn out. Was really nice to get into some big colors!

Moon A fun attempt at the character design challenge that was going on for the month of July. The prompt was a Tarot card as a character. I always loved Akihiko Yoshida’s Tarot decks from Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre. I’m all about the elegant and mysterious yet dark visuals. 

Something I sketched tonight. I may have been a little inspired by current events.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong, Skyline Throwback Thursday to a city painting I did for SR:HK. I was trying to do something Blade Runner-esque with it. I still like how the colors turned out at least!
