i can’t claim to have actual data but it’s funny (hmmmmmm) that lovestruck/voltage USA fan base on tumblr leans heavily wlw and choices/pixelberry tumblr is (by my very rough estimate) like 80% straight girls/women (afaik the gender split is similar for both games but I wouldn’t be surprised if choices had a slightly larger share of boys/men given the greater genre variety)

and by funny i mean… it’s almost like if you take special efforts to cater to a group of people who tend not to have a lot of media made specifically for them, those people will show up and use/pay for your product! like magic!

i mean, i hate nobles and moreso the IDEA of nobles. so u would think i would love drake? well no lmao he hates nobles but at the same time he doesnt do anything to fight the nobility AND because he’s an hypocrite he benefits from the advantages of the nobility by hanging out with nobles. i dont see him complain about having to go to new york in a private jet, go to every country of europe etc etc. but then he has the balls to come for mc who dare i say lived in new york and worked as a bartender, and say she’s changing etc when she’s only trying to adapt to her new environment? and then i’m supposed to feel bad for him because he has to adapt himself now and he could have done all of this during the 2 other books but he didnt bc he kept complaining. so yeah drake probably doesnt care about monarchy he just doesnt like the “acting proper” part and thats it lmao.

im not saying drake should lead a revolution and end the monarchy but just,,,,,, not criticize the nobles for stupid reasons lmao? and be a little more deep about it idk. and i mean i was scared jax was gonna be the drake of bloodbound but jax is fighting for something and yeah the dude is unhappy and he drinks whiskey but he has his reasons lmao and he’s not being a rude asshole to mc for no reasons whatsoever.

jax had a moment of justifiable anger and was kinda rude for 0.002 seconds in the last chapter when he noticed lily was getting special treatment while clanless vampires (including children) are being left to die. guess what? he immediately realized the situation isn’t mc’s fault and apologized.
