She's Got A Gun
Bucky X Reader. Warnings/themes: 18+, smut, fluff, angst, language.
The Avengers never know how Bucky finishes his missions so quickly. Little do they know, he's got a little help from a gun wielding woman hidden in the shadows.
The screams have all been silenced. The night now is only filled with the crunching of branches beneath your feet and the thrum of energy in your palm from your gun cooling down. You flex your leather-covered hands, stretching out your fingers. You’d broken your middle finger on your right hand, again, for the third time.
“All good, doll?” You turn around to face your lover at the sound of your pet name on his lips. Your mouth curls up into a small smile.
Bucky gives a nod of his head. “Yeah.”
Your hand comes up to point at his dark jacket. “You sure?” You check, pointing to the blood covering him.
A dark chuckle escapes Bucky as he throws an arm around your shoulder. “Not my blood, doll. What about you?” He asks gently, his mental hand coming up to rub against your blood covered cheek.
Bright lights flood the dark forest and you know the rest of Bucky’s team is on their way. “That’s my cue to leave.” You say, giving Bucky’s hand a squeeze. Before you have a chance to step away he pulls you in closer.
“You know, you could stay, finally meet my friends and teammates.”
You shake your head, your eyes narrowing at Bucky. You two had this discussion every time you helped him out with a mission.
“Buck, you know this isn’t how I want to meet them.”
Bucky signed before giving you a quick kiss. “I know. Get home safely.”
Pulling him in for a deeper kiss, you growl out, “You best not keep me waiting in bed tonight.”
Bucky doesn’t get a chance to answer before you’re gone, running through the cover of the dark forest just as his team comes up behind him.
“I never know how you get the job done so quickly, Buck.” Steve says from behind him.
Bucky grimaces before turning around to face his team and giving them a shrug. “Couldn’t tell ya.”
A few hours later and Bucky was balls deep inside of you. Giving you orgasm after delicious orgasm.
“Fuck, doll.” Bucky gasps as he thrusts into you. “You’re so tight.”
“Don’t stop!” You order from your place beneath him. The drag of his cock against your inner walls has you moaning loudly alongside him.
“Never,” Bucky promises. And he doesn’t. All night the soldier keeps going, he keeps moaning your name as he finishes inside of you only to take a breather and fill you back up. “Taking me so fucking well. Fuck.” Bucky gasps.
“Harder,” you urge Bucky. “Fucking pound me!” Bucky pulls your legs up by his shoulders. The angle has him sliding in even deeper. “Yes!” You cry out.
“Shit doll,” Bucky moans. “You were made for me. Made to take my cock.”
By the end of the night, Bucky has you sobbing from his cock and he loves it. You both do. “Fuck,” Bucky breaths out as he finally rolls off of you and curls up into your side. “You’re amazing, dollface.”
“I know.” You answer, your voice breathy from exhaustion.
Bucky chuckles, a deep, happy sound, then he’s sitting up and leaning over you, looking into your eyes. “Meet my team tomorrow, Y/N. Meet my friends. No mission, no battleground, just come to the compound and have lunch with them.”
Bucky’s question has you sitting up in bed. “I suppose it’s about time, isn’t it?” You say with a small smile.
Bucky’s hand slides across your lap and grabs hold of your own. A laugh escapes him as he looks at you. “About time? Dollface, it was time to meet them last year. You’re overdue.”
You can’t help but roll your eyes. “Fine. I'll have lunch. But-” you say while raising a finger at Bucky.
“But you joining my missions stays a secret. I know, doll.” Bucky finishes for you.
Your finger curls back into your fist before your hand drops back down to your lap. “Good.”
Bucky makes you part with your gun before leaving the house for lunch the next day.
“They’re all very trusted. I don’t need you shown’ up with a gun in hand as I introduce you, doll.”
You scoff at Bucky as you watch him place the gun in your nightstand drawer. “I wouldn’t be waving it around in my hand, Buck. It would be hidden.”
Bucky peers at you with narrowed eyes over his shoulder. “You know what I mean Y/N.”
You have to hold back the urge to stomp your feet and stick your tongue out as Bucky strides back over to you and leads you out of your shared bedroom. “What if I get attacked?” You say as a last, desperate plea for your gun.
Bucky gives you an amused look as he guides you out the front door and locks it behind himself. “We both know you can handle yourself in a fight. Gun or no gun.”
Your shoulders slump as you let out a deep huff of air. “Fair point.”
You’re only just settling in on the back of Bucky’s motorcycle when his phone rings. Marvin Gaye’s Trouble Man ringing out. A ringtone you helped him set up for Steve’s contact.
“Hey, I’m just about to head down-” Bucky answers before he stops and listens to Steve on the other end. “Shit,” he breathes out after a minute. “Yeah, yeah I got you. I’m on my way now.” As Bucky hangs up his phone he turns to you with dejected eyes.
“Mission.” You say, not bothering to pose it as a question.
“Yeah.” Bucky answers. Taking your helmet off of you with gentle hands he says, “A live base has been found, Hydra. We need to go in. Research seems to show that its soldier count is low now, the perfect time to attack.”
Sticking your bottom lip out in a pout you look up into Bucky’s stormy blue eyes. “Be careful.”
“I will, dollface.” Bucky says before he takes a delicate hold of your chin and pulls you in for a kiss. “And you stay home,” he says once the two of you break apart for air. “Stay safe.”
“Buck-” You argue, but he cuts you off with a shake of his head.
“No doll, no buts. Stay here. I got my team with me this time.”
Your brows furrow and your nose squishes as you huff out, “fine.”
Bucky gives you one last kiss. “Thank you.”
His use of manners is almost enough to make you tell him the truth. It’s almost enough to tell him that you’re lying straight through your teeth and that there’s never any scenario where you won’t be supporting him in the field as he faces Hydra. But you don’t. Instead, you just smile and nod.
It seems to Bucky that whoever did the research for this mission was misinformed. Severely misinformed. Yes, the base was live, but the soldier count was easily three times the amount than what they originally thought. The concrete building looming behind Bucky lets out a continuous swarm of Hydra agents. With each soldier he takes down, another is at his side, ready and fighting to take his place.
“A little back up over here.” Natasha grits out into her comms.
“I’m headed in your direction.” Steve answers.
The chaos of the fight builds around Bucky until he loses all sense of time. His moves become a blur of second nature as he takes out the Hydra operatives. By the time the rush of blood in his ears calms and his heart steadies, the fight dying alongside the Hydra soldiers, it’s nearly dusk.
“Everyone good?” Steve asks through the comms. A chain of yes’s and yeah’s rings out alongside Bucky’s own conformation.
“I see someone.” Sam’s voice cuts through the communication system. “Doesn’t seem to be Hydra…” his voice trails off for a moment. “She’s got a gun.” Everyone is silent as they wait for Sam’s next words. “I’m bringing the hostile around.”
Steve, Bucky and Natasha wait patiently for a few minutes before Sam comes out from around the corner of the building, his face stoic as he guides a figure towards the rest of the team, a gun pointing at the back of their head. It takes Bucky less than a second to realize who that figure is before he’s marching up to them and growling out, “put your gun away Sam before I snap your fucking neck.”
Sam pauses for only a moment, sharing a look with Steve before he’s tucking his gun away.
Bucky takes quick strides to reach you, his hands reach out for you as soon as he’s within arms reach. “Y/N,” he breathes. “Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine.” You answer before your lips turn into a pout. “But your friend took my gun.” You say with a nod towards Sam.
Bucky briefly looks at Sam with narrowed before his gaze falls back to you. “He’s not my friend.”
“I spotted her from above. Gun in hand. She said she was with us but-”
“She is with us, you dumbass.” Bucky scolds.
Peering over your shoulder you look back at Sam. “Told ya I wasn’t a hostile.”
Sam’s brows raise towards his hairline. “You’re words were certainly hostile.”
Bucky stops you from going further by gently guiding your face back towards his own. “I thought I said not to come.”
You give a shrug of your shoulders. “You know I never listen, baby.”
Sam looks between you and Bucky, then over to the rest of the team. “Am I missing something?” He asks no one in particular.
“I think we’re all missing something,” Steve answers. “Buck. Care to explain?”
“Right,” Bucky answers. Dropping his metal arm around your shoulders he turns to face the rest of his team. “Y/N, this is my team. Guys, this is Y/N, my wife.”
Everyone’s eyes go wide as your lips curl up into a knowing smile. “Sorry to meet you like this. You know, gun in hand and all.”
“I took your gun away,” Sam says.
Pulling your hand out from behind your back you wave a second gun at Sam. “You didn’t search me very well.” You say in answer to his shocked expression.
Bucky rolls his eyes, his lips are turned up into a small smile as he says, “she’s the reason I’ve been finishing my missions so quickly.”
“That’s not-” Steve begins before you interrupt.
“Neither I nor Bucky cares about that particular protocol. There’s no scenario in this god damn universe, or any other universe, where my husband goes out on a mission without backup.” You say cooly.
Steve closes his mouth, remaining silent for a moment after your terse words. As the Captain stands tall with his arms crossed, Bucky wonders how much shit he’s going to get into before Steve says, “I like you.” His blue eyes are alight as he looks from you to Bucky. “I like her.”
Bucky smirks, his arm tightening around your shoulders ever so gently. “So do I,” he says as he looks back at you. “So do I.”
