Regarding the message:
“RP?” or “Wanna RP?” or any other variant of that
Here’s a little tip, if you would like to RP with someone, don’t send this message. Now I’m not saying don’t message someone you’re interested in RPing with, go right ahead. But if you do message them letting them know that you have an idea in mind, or even if you don’t don’t leave it at just ‘wanna rp?’ Here are some alternatives:
“Hi, I was looking at your blog and I would love to RP with you. {insert plot idea} Would you be interested in writing this with me?” or
“Hi, I would really love to RP with you but I don’t have a set plot in mind. Would you like to plot something out with me?”
Make the person understand that you’re interested. For me 9/10 times I receive a simply ‘wanna rp’ message I’ll respond asking if the person has an idea in mind. It cuts out a step and an extra message and shows the other mun that you are interested in them as a potential writing partner.
Spent the last two days working on this little archery guide in art and writing. Considering the rise in popularity of archers in pop culture this hopefully comes in handy for a bunch of fandoms.

Words to replace said, except this actually helps
I got pretty fed up with looking for words to replace said because they weren’t sorted in a way I could easily use/find them for the right time. So I did some myself.

Edit: People, I’m an English and creative writing double major in college; I understand that there’s nothing wrong with simply using “said.” This was just for fun, and it comes in handy when I need to add pizzazz.

Tips for that romance-themed roleplay! 💛
Some cool ways to signal your character’s rage in writing!
These words aren’t so lousy! 😁
These replacements for very _____, are excellent!
Change the way you “GO”.
Ever thought of the various senses we experience throughout the day?
Said is dead!
But… how did they say it?
Hey, these are quite excellent!
How to make a character's death sadder
- Don’t have them die of old age after a long, fulfilling life. Many people don’t even think of this as sad (note that this can still work if you have enough of the other factors).
- Leave one of their major goals unfinished. The more enthusiastic they are about completing the goal, the sadder.
- Give them strong relationships with other characters.
- Make them fight against whatever is causing their death. Their ultimate loss is sadder if they struggle.
- Kill them in the middle of their character arc.
- Don’t describe their funeral in detail. Maybe it’s just me, but I find that long descriptions of funerals kill the sadness.
Words you should use more often!
More replacements for “said”!
A great collection of “touchy feely” words!
