Whomobile, AKA Alien/the Doctor's Car, 1973. This year the long-running BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee, used the vehicle in several episodes. It was supposed to be a hovercraft though in fact it had wheels and was registered for road use as an "Invalid Tricycle". It was owned by the actor, Pertwee retained after the end of his tenure as Doctor Who and kept it until his death

Pontiac Pegasus Concept, 1971. Designed under the direction of Bill Mitchell, GM Design Vice President, based on a 1970 second generation Pontiac Firebird. The prototype was built in collaboration with Enzo Ferrari so the styling was modified and the car was fitted with Ferrari 4.4 litre Tipo 251 Colombo V12 engine, 5 speed gearbox and exhaust system. The instrument panel gauges were also from Ferrari, the wire wheels were from Borrani. There was a GM posi-traction rear axle with 4-wheel disc brakes from a Corvette. It remained a one-off and is part of the GM Heritage Collection

Lamborghini Countach LP400 S "Cannonball Run," 1979. Chassis number 1121112 was originally delivered to the Lamborghini distributor for Rome, Italy, SEA Auto, who almost immediately had the car exported to the United States of America. Hal Needham. the movie's director, decided the factory original Countach wasn’t quite wild enough for the film, so it was modified by adding a new front spoiler with additional lights for night driving. In 2021 The Cannonball Run Countach made history by entering the Library of Congress National Historic Vehicle Register.

Alfa Romeo B.A.T. 7, 1954, by Bertone. One of a series of Berlina Aerodinamica Tecnica concepts designed by Franco Scaglione. Nuccio Bertone also added ideas from his experience working on wing profiles in the aeronautical industry resulting in the shape of the large, curved tail fins. The car's drag coefficient was 0.19, still impressively low, for the time, revolutionary.

The party: [encounters a very jammed door]

Trab, the halfling rogue who regularly gets used as an improvised weapon by the Paladin: Ah well. Time for the Trabbering Ram.

The party, later that session: [encounters a giant centipede]

Paladin: Okay. I want to try to intimidate the centipede. Can I intimidate the centipede?

DM: …you can try-

Paladin: Nat 20.

DM: The centipede has no concept of human facial expressions or body language, however it knows better than to try pulling some shit.
