WHOA. @loki-g0dofstories, let's back up just a bit if that's okay?

Here's context for why i got this ask that I think will help explain this: like a year or two ago, I asked people to give me wild claims they'd heard about Loki and I would refute it with evidence from canon. it was an ask game. That is not at all clear with the format of this ask with no context so I can totally see where you're coming from, but @bardicious is my mutual and I've known them for a long time and I know this isn't something they believed then. Or now. Again, can see where you're coming from, but we were both exasperated beyond words about this. Bardicious is being sarcastic.

to everyone who's lost a mom, has suffered abuse from their mom, has no or a strained relationship to their mom, is struggling to concieve, or anything else that makes today hard, i see you. you have every right to take today for yourself. you have no obligation to call your mom or do anything for her, if she hasn't earned it. sending everyone struggling today so much love.

me in the past, a fool: wow, selective mutism is sooooo easy to write about. weird, considering i usually need to do more research on a disorder like this when i don't have it

#me as person#anyway so the criteria is different than just “child/person never speaks period” hence /selective/ mutism#which i do have problems with#the not talking ever#but like uh#apparently being so anxious to talk that you avoid social situation to the point it impairs you is a massively common symptom of this#like you avoid it /solely/ so you don't have to talk to anyone#i'm doing amazing actually#no issues here#the social anxiety has not at all effected my ability to communicate or form meaningful connections#or function outside of the house#or take care of myself
