the part i dont get about the dream thieves is that by the end we’ve got a dead kavinsky, and therefore a prokopenko copy in permasleep, leaving three able members of the dream pack back none of whom are strangers to violence and somehow none of them get recompense for events at the 4th of july party.

none of the dream pack would have missed the party. not with the importance k put on the event. not knowing that k intended it to be the climax to his relationship whatever that had been with ronan..besides wasn’t swan a dj for k’s parties or some shit?

so we are forced to assume that swan, skov, and jiang all witnessed kavinsky die. furthermore they must have found out either in time or afterwards you decide that now proko is effectively permanently comatose and somehow they’re all chill with that???

i think tf not. i was convinced that the remaining 3 active members of the dream pack would come back somehow as villains in bllb tbqh because it doesn’t make sense otherwise. they’re left leaderless, their own “king” dead, after some type of infatuation and entanglement with a fucking outsider, an outsider they go to school with and therefore see all the time and we’re supposed to believe theres absolutely no confrontation with said outsider ronan lynch a powderkeg in his own right?

 if they had said something even something small to ronan its not exactly likely that ronan would let it go esp after his baby brother was kidnapped and nearly killed and now these pricks have the gall to make themselves the victims? no way no how would ronan have kept his chill. come to think of it i dont even buy that ronan wouldn’t have had his own anger at the remaining dream pack because they were k’s “loyal pack of dogs” and for all he knows could have been k’s willing accomplices in kidnapping matthew

it just doesnt make sense that there are 4 total active members of k’s inner circle ronan included, all of whom we assume had anger issues, and none of them lashed out in any way that impacts any members of the gangsey, even tho the gangsey would have been public enemies to me if my best friends were dead and comatose anyway thanks for coming to my ted talk

listen….they now have the memories of growing old together. meaning whatever crazy shit that will happen, whatever other relationships, their first instinct is going to be to go to each other. even if its just subtle they are always going to have this (seemingly overnight) extremely familiar affection for one another that no one else will ever totally understand. and lads that’s my fave trope.
