Online classes are working for me, I’m starting to catch up on all the classes I missed earlier this semester and it’s getting easier for me. Spring has begun and the sun really energizes me! My plants also love it and my monstera is giving me a new leaf.

hi, hi, I'm so sorry for coming into ur inbox like this, but would you know if it's be possible to do like... a telehealth kind of thing with a vet and get a prescription for anxiety meds for a cat? We've tried to use things like CBD oil and the homeopet anxiety relief stuff for one of our kitties, but it isn't working very well. We can't get her into a carrier bc she's too anxious to let us do that so getting her physically to a vet for a prescription is out of the question.
Also, we kind of need to get her in a carrier in a couple of weeks bc pest control will be spraying in our apartment n it's advised to get everyone out during it. She is a street kitty that we took in so she is a bundle of nerves and won't let us too close. We've been working with her so she's getting more comfortable with coming closer but still not enough to get her used to touch or getting her in a carrier. Unfortunately, veterinarians are unable to prescribe medications without first examining the animal. If you want a prescription for her, you will need to bring her to your local vet clinic for an exam.
The only thing I can safely recommend are natural products that can help with anxiety. In Canada, we have Feliway and Zylkene which I'm comfortable recommending.
Try leaving the carrier out all the time, putting her food in there and getting her used to it ahead of time.

This may seem like a strange question and I understand if you don’t answer: I am currently doing some work experience at a vet practice and one of the owners who came in was transgender - now by no means do I have an issue with that! - but my question is how do you approach a client you suspect to be transgender without using the wrong pronouns/risking offending them? Is it as simple as just asking them? I don’t know if I’m just overthinking it?
My question for you is this: why do you need to know if a client is transgender?
I don’t think asking is appropriate, as some people may not be out and would be uncomfortable with that sort of question, and it really is none of our business.
If your issue is when referring to that particular client, I would avoid using pronouns if possible, for example “Fist name Last name”, “Fluffy’s owner” and such.
I can’t speak for transgender people, but this is my view of it as a part of the queer community. Hope it helps!

JAN 02, 2018 / happy new year everyone!! i hope everyone is having a relaxing holiday, whether around loved ones or enjoying your own solitude. i’m becoming increasingly aware that my lil group of friends know me so well, as they’ve gifted me wonderful things this year; it is always nice to know certain items remind people of you. i haven’t made any concrete resolutions this year, just reflecting on how much i’ve grown and appreciative/grateful for it. the new year doesn’t necessarily mark a turning point - the process is always ongoing :~)
