If your ADHD is causing you to fuck up more, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the ADHD is getting worse.. you could just be doing more things which gives you more opportunity to fuck up.

This is one of the reasons, ADHD can get ‘worse’ as an adult. A child has very few responsibilities. An adult on the other hand, has all kinds of opportunities to fuck up on. 

Goes for other disabilities too. Sometimes it seems like it’s “getting worse” when what’s really happening is that circumstances have changed in a way that makes the symptoms more obvious and detrimental. 

VERY important advice. Don’t beat yourself up. Adulting is HARD.

SHATTERED - Neo & Trinity (The Matrix Resurrections)

This video is AT LEAST 15 years in the making.

When I was a kid, when I'd hold on to Neo and Trinity because my life sucked and they were my comfort in a world where I felt like I could never have a friend, I envisioned a version of the story where they met in the Matrix post-Revolutions, and found each other again. I tried to vid it in 2008, using this exact song and other movies with Keanu and Carrie-Anne... the awkward-and-BADLY-edited (with Windows Movie Maker) result is linked at the end of the video.

Today, that little kid's fantasy is an ACTUAL, tangible reality.

All I can do is cry and hope and pray for the day I meet either Lana, Lilly, Keanu or Carrie-Anne, to tell them how much they meant to me, how they basically saved my life, and how grateful I am to them.

This movie was a gift, the best gift a filmmaker could ever have given me, and that I never thought I'd receive. I'll forever be thankful for that.
